I'd dangle Sanders out there for the hell of it looking for a late first. Bucs, Bills, Jags specifically. I'd toss back a day 3 pick to get it done if needed. I love Sanders but we need quality picks under team control and he's only here two more years. Probably wouldn't happen anyways...

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Nothing Hurts could possibly do could threaten Wentz's job. Only Carson could've done that. 2017 +effective backup = SB. 2018,2019 no effective backup= playoff loss. The mathematic need for a solid backup was proven 3 years in a row, backwards and forwards. Nothing about Wentz's regression is redeemable. And in 2020 AFTER playing like crap he questions management? Really? He hurt the team and the locker room. He got Doug fired. His name should live in infamy in Philly.

OK, + 1 for the ignore list.

Don’t think they’d wait that long. I can understand them giving hurts two years. especially with how bad the 2021 roster is going to be. So if he plays average in the team around him is awful you don’t think the Eagles would give them another year knowing in 2022 they have more draft picks to add and more Space to spend in free agency to build the team around him? Frankly I don’t think the Eagles expected Jalen hurts to play significant snaps unless Carson Wentz got hurt in 2020. I firmly believe they probably thought he was at least a two-year project

Just let Siri do what he wants at QB let him run the show. No more interference from scum Howie.

Sanders and our 5 isn’t getting us anywhere near a 1.

Good luck with that one

I don’t disagree that they should draft a quarterback if they fall in love with one of them and they truly believe he could be the guy they envisioned wentz to be when they did that in 2016.

However I think they love Jalen hurts. I think fans are having a tough time grasping the fact they might also envision Jalen hurts as a starting quarterback with coaching and grooming.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this year and next year they don’t take a quarterback in the first round. I could see them giving hurts two years.  they are in a rebuild and likely believe 2021 the roster with a rookie head coach is not going to be good enough to show you everything. Let’s look at the whole picture of 2021. that roster is going to be a bad roster due to bad salary cap management, poring drafting and who you have to get rid of to get below the cap and their replacements. So hurts might look average but they might say you know what we’ll have a better roster in 2022 with cap space, our coach will be in his second year and young guys get more experience that they think he can go from that to great

Only on defense. Add say Chase or Pitts and a WR/TE in the 3rd rd, and a OL later for depth, and they'll have as much talent on the offensive side of the ball as say Indy.

The defense will be bad for a year or two, but I suspect it'll also be fast, aggressive and exciting. When you give up 420 points, how much worse can it get?

The Eagles were 20th in points allowed. It can get helluva lot worse. Stop.

I look forward to the QB Factory again outsmarting everyone by drafting a QB at 6, should be great.

Howie will trade back out of the 3rd with that pick, because he likes to have picks in each round.  He'll get a 4th yet.Nice that we could flip Wentz to regain the 4th Howie threw away to bring in Gerard Avery.   And Howie even made it a 3rd, and he's going to get that 4th back with a little extra.

That's funny... I was an Eagles fan before you could find Philadelphia on a map, Junior.  Now, beat it.

Disagree. You listed all the Eagles young offensive players earlier today. Most of them are unproven or proven back ups not starters. Driscoll is a proven backup not a starter. He started and got hurt and didn’t make it through the season. So I can’t say he’s a starter. Just because the Eagles drafted them or have them on the roster does not make them proven commodities. They are unproven. and veterans like Lane and Brooks or injury prone and you don’t know how many games are going to get out of them or if they’re going to be the same player anymore as they are now 31 and going on 32 and one with 3 consecutive major injuries

hurts— unproven

sanders— good but has dealt with nagging injuries

scott— backup should be a 3rd rb

reagor— unproven; has potential but at this point hasn’t proven to be a good starter

Watkins— unproven

Hightower— unproven

fulgham— unproven

jjaw— unproven

goedert— proven but also injury prone

Kelce—  might retire

seumalo— good

mailata— potential starter

lane— good but injury prone so don’t know how many games you get

Brooks— good but also injury prone and 32 now off two Achilles injuries  and a shoulder

dillard—unproven; i guess proven backup at strictly LT

juriga— unproven

herbig— backup

Driscill— backup and unproven starter as he didn’t show he could stay healthy and do it for more than a game or two

opeta— unproven

and I don’t know what universe the Eagles have as much talent as the Indianapolis Colts do on offense. They have a top-five line, Hines and Jonathan Taylor, and Pittman better than any receiver we had and 40 million in cap to sign one of the good wide receivers who in free agency this off-season

Anyone who thought that was misinformed, or didn’t use logic considering who the Eagles drafted in the 2nd round last year.

By that standard there are about 20 proven players in the NFL, the rest are too young to be proven or too old to be trusted.

I suggest JJAW is proven - he sucks.

lol. Yes coming from the guy who told us that Patrick Mahomes was unproven. But wants to call those players good or competent starters. The amount of BS you come up with and spin is amazing to me

I would also suggest you actually look at the Colts roster and the fact that they have salary cap to go out there and sign one of the better free-agent wide receivers on the market (this year is a very good market) and still have their first and second round pick to add talent. I would also add our two best young talented skill position players or injury prone. Sanders misses games and leaves games. Goedert all three years he’s played has had some sort of injury where he’s missed weeks
