I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

At the height of the news today (1:06 PM Eastern), we had 496 people on the board and I saw no issues with accessibility.

Yep, the site has been fine for me all day.

3rd round pick, #77 overall seems about right.

I like Pitts I just don't like him at 6.  I have a feeling he will be available as late as 15-20.

No chance, some are calling Pitts the best pass catcher and overall athlete of the entire draft.

Yeah but at the end of the day, he's still a TE.  When was the last time a TE was drafted 6th or higher?

Only way they go QB is Siri didn't like either QB, which probably would have come out in the interview.

Speculation is nonsense, unless you have a source in the inner circle (and any source that disclosed the team's intentions would soon be exiled) no rumor about the Eagles' draft day moves is credible. Nor do we know what they think of Hurts, other than I doubt they put a lot of weight on four rookie games in a clusterf--- season.

I'm hoping Hurts is the QB and outplays Wentz, because that would truly cause the Philly media to melt down, some reporters might have to be committed.

3/4 of the Blog would be right there with them lol.

Yeah that’s basically all pro sports now. Ask James harden about Houston. Or AD about New Orleans. Or nolenado about Colorado.

Happy to get a 4th for Ertz, it's time to move on, he's not going to age well, he depends on his route running, lacks high end speed (4.68 almost a decade ago) and isn't much of a blocker. I think he's dreaming if he thinks he's going to get a serious extension.

Now move Slay and that's enough to get them well under the cap. With Wentz gone they have the flexibility to move some money into 2022 when the cap goes up. And lots of money for FAs in 2023.

I can't get excited about Wentz either way, he's not the player we hoped in 2017, he's not as bad as 2020, he'll turn 29 in December, he makes sense for Indy but not a team rebuilding where he'd be 31 in 2023 and probably a middle of the pack QB. Rebuild the OL, get some more weapons and see what they can do with Hurts. Odds are if they're gonna find a "franchise QB" it's going to be a stroke of luck (Romo, Warner, Brady, Wilson, Rodgers, or someone's retread, Brees, high 1st rd picks who've had long careers, Rivers, Eli, Peyton, Big Ben, Ryan).

I like him more than Smith and Chase and it only takes one team to like him to determine where his value in the draft is.

I'll stay.  While I'm older than 52, this season will be my 52nd consecutive year watching or going to each and every game.

That's good.  If you watched 46 years BC (before Carson), then there's hope you can move on.

I can’t imagine Kelce doesn’t retire. Interesting to see what his trade value would be.

Hockenson was 8 two years ago

Maybe he’d want to play for a year with little brother.

He just said last week on Long's pod he didn't know yet. I doubt todays news makes him sway one way or the other.

I think he'd only want to go to one team, KC, to play with his brother and try for another ring.

Their center is Austin Reiter, so Kelce would be an upgrade even at the end of his career.

I'd take whatever KC is willing to offer if Kelce wants a trade, we owe him that, just for that epic speech.

The answer is 2006.  Vernon Davis, picked 6th overall.  They would be better suited trading back a few picks, "risking"  but accumulating additional 2nd round picks, etc....then if he's available between  12-20 then take him there; if they really want him.  I would still take Bateman there over him, tbh.

I'll make the early odds 3-1 that Kelce ends up in KC...maybe Andy will throw us a 5th round pick back, idk.

I felt this way before the Carson stuff came out and I don’t think that plays a role in his decision or much of a role But I tend to think  he retires unless he gets traded to a team like the chiefs or a SB contender. Frankly I can’t see him wanting to go through a rebuild risking his health when he can walk away at 33 and probably get a nice cushy job. He would really have to love the game to play on a bad team and knowing it’s a bad team for a couple years. Plus he wouldn’t get to reap the benefits as the eagles likely move on in 2 years when they are ready to contend and he’s declined. I think the money aspect he’s gonna be fine when he retires because he’s gonna have almost any job in the city with football.
