I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The Eagles website is comical.  Headlines: Eagles trade Wentz for conditional 1st and more.

Jeffrey Lurie success tree is now an NFL forrest.

😂

As an eagles fan I cheer for them to win and have success. However Lurie better hope this rebuild goes as well as he thinks or the eagles expect cause if implodes and in 3 years we still not very good then it should humble the entire organization about their boasting about all the GMs they have in the building and QB factory.

that said i eagerly look forward to the next idiotic comment for them to make like the QB factory

After reading all those comments on twitter, I'm amazed that the Eagles managed to win the SB and go to the playoffs two more times despite Howie destroying the talent base left to him by Chip, who ran McCoy, Maclin and DeSean out of town, thus garnering a boatload of draft picks that made it easy for Howie to rebuild the team..

It’ll be interesting to see the QB depth chart week 1 that’s for sure.

Meh, when people reveal their character, I don't get mad, just note those not worthy of respect.

The imagining of your hand without a finger was pretty stupid

I feel they have better ones in them.

Start in the mirror, failure

A GM, QB factory...but the workers are on strike.

Well I heard "reports" that Nagy prefers vanilla soft serve while Reich doesnt eat ice cream.  That makes Nagy a closer friend.  Also "sources" say that Doug is a little jealous of Reich because he is mentioned more when it comes to their SB success than Doug.  The Reich-Pederson relationship might be a little strained and Doug telling Reich to go get Wentz is setting him up for failure.

You have a vivid imagination.

For sure. That’s why I said pretty stupid, he will have a full blown idiotic statement by April

I wouldn’t of said the name-calling assclown but the irony is he try to blast Smith for defending wentz because of 3 years ago when they played together. Meanwhile he defends every single day Roseman when he also might not be the same person he was 3 years ago as a Gm and it’s been proven he’s regressed as well.

my favorite thing he comes up with now is that howie, lurie and the eagles were planning a rebuild of this magnitude. No they weren’t. They just continue to keep making a mistake after mistake after mistake and it’s gotten to this point of where it is this big of a rebuild. Howie and lurie were likely trying to retool on the fly knowing they had wentz and not have to go into a significant rebuild of this nature where they have a question mark at QB. However since they kept trading away picks due to bad drafting/developing and signing bad contracts and restructuring guys they should not have as their window was closing faster then they wanted to believe and they wound up here.

Wouldn't it be funny if the Eagles take Wilson, Fields, or Lance and it somehow actually works out, then Shane Steichen and Brian Johnson leave during the same off-season and Alex Tanney pulls a Press Taylor and runs this whole thing into the ground again....

That’s some $hit women would pull... Real men don’t think like that

Hurts is no answer i agree

but rebuild the o-line and secondary. Then we can go after the qb

I agree that investing in the oline and secondary is better. My preference would be a trade down to acquire another 2nd or 3rd round pick.

That would be nice.   But, we have to hope that there's someone that someone in the 10-12 range would be looking for in a move up.

Niners are a team i could see if they identify a QB they like and see as a long term replacement for Jimmy G. However that’s the assumption one of the 3 QBs other than Lawrence falls to 6 and they want that one

Who are the sort of second level QBs in the draft?

I'm thinking what if the Eagles really do want to see Hurts compete for the job while still drafting a QB, just not in the first.  Who are the likely 2nd and 3rd round QBs in this draft?

Are we drafting a cheap backup QB in the second round again?

I mean Carolina could. The Patriots might want to move up for aQB. Much of it will depend on whether Atlanta goes for a QB.

That is literally the worst case scenario...

Could you imagine how doug feels if reich gets more out of wentz then he did this past year. Really gonna strain the relationship

Might be able to grab Mac Jones if he falls to the 2nd. The rest is a crapshoot. Can get a promising backup after that but not much else.
