I mean Carolina could. The Patriots might want to move up for aQB. Much of it will depend on whether Atlanta goes for a QB.

Miami is sitting on prime position to trade back at 3 regardless of if it is fields or Wilson at 2. I believe there will be a team willing to trade up like eagles, Denver, Carolina, niners and Patriots (might be too far back) to get to 3.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I wouldn’t of said the name-calling assclown but the irony is he try to blast Smith for defending wentz because of 3 years ago when they played together. Meanwhile he defends every single day Roseman when he also might not be the same person he was 3 years ago as a Gm and it’s been proven he’s regressed as well.

my favorite thing he comes up with now is that howie, lurie and the eagles were planning a rebuild of this magnitude. No they weren’t. They just continue to keep making a mistake after mistake after mistake and it’s gotten to this point of where it is this big of a rebuild. Howie and lurie were likely trying to retool on the fly knowing they had wentz and not have to go into a significant rebuild of this nature where they have a question mark at QB. However since they kept trading away picks due to bad drafting/developing and signing bad contracts and restructuring guys they should not have as their window was closing faster then they wanted to believe and they wound up here.

Exactly

just tired of afan’s endless bloviating to defend a fellow weasel lawyer. Outside of JR maybe, i cant think of a single soul that gives any respect to afan’s verbal diarrhea. So its laughable to think of him trying to take character high ground.

Carolina seems to be pursuing Watson hard

That does seem plausible

could depend quite a bit on whether those teams think we will target a qb at 6

You’re taking a poster on a message board way too seriously if he bothers you enough to call him a failure and to attack his employment status. Seriously, that’s low as hell.

Wouldn't it be funny if the Eagles take Wilson, Fields, or Lance and it somehow actually works out, then Shane Steichen and Brian Johnson leave during the same off-season and Alex Tanney pulls a Press Taylor and runs this whole thing into the ground again....

You have a dark sense of humor

Not only us but also Atlanta. They’re going with Matt Ryan this year because the dead money is like $44 million. However next year it’s 26 million in dead money and a clear 15 million in space. I would think if Ryan plays reasonably well that some contender will take a chance on him and they could have their quarterback in place next year that they draft at four.

You have a vivid imagination.

😄 Obviously just joking around but it sounds like something one of these idiot reporters would post on Twitter.

That's good.  If you watched 46 years BC (before Carson), then there's hope you can move on.

I already have.  It's you who hasn't.   But you're too enthralled with yourself to admit it.

Dont care. He deserves it.

Sanders and our 5 isn’t getting us anywhere near a 1.

Then we keep him

As a person who tends to get into it with afan a lot on his takes i have never attacked his personal life or failures. I was wondering what the heck his last sentence was about. I thought it was in reference to something with howie in howie’s life. Agreed that’s not cool.

Who are the sort of second level QBs in the draft?

I'm thinking what if the Eagles really do want to see Hurts compete for the job while still drafting a QB, just not in the first.  Who are the likely 2nd and 3rd round QBs in this draft?

Kyle Trask and no one else.

Maybe I did. I thought you said Sanders and a day 3 pick for a late 1.

I have gotten into it with him a lot over the past month. And trust me he’s had some ridiculous arguments and crazy narratives he comes up with. But I won’t do that. I wouldn’t want somebody doing that about my personal Life. Even name-calling I could understand in the heat of the moment because he’s done that to me and I’ve been guilty of it. The personal stuff isn’t needed

They have groh coaching wide receivers and not a OC. Seems like a much better decision.

ATL seems stuck with Ryan

Drafting a qb seems like a bad idea for them if they are banking on someone trading for ryan after the season. They need to wait

I havent even read most of afan's posts lately because hes basically repeating all of the stuff I have said about Howie already. He and I seem to be the only two who know better. YHowie is switching back in to re-build mode and hes very good at this.

Why would bucs be interested?

Maybe they would be. Fournette has to be a FA soon and it doesn't  seem like they're in love with Rojo

afan has also never personally attacked anyone here but ghor in all my years here.. ive never seen him get in to it with anyone else. And I have insulted afan before (because he tends to say a lot of very elementary things and explains them to us as if we are pre-schoolers who dont know these things yet). But even after attacked, he never does it back.

I feel like they are in the same situation as the Eagles if you fall in love with one of those quarterbacks and you’re sitting at four you should take him because Matt Ryan is older and might not be picking there anytime soon and have a QB you love when/if you do

The board is a better place without afan
