Hardly. Earl Campbell was better than any RB to come into the league since. Great baseball player too. All those other guys would be stars today.

Those Warriors teams pre-KD were massively overrated. Their style was so different that they could dominate the regular season, but in the playoffs when teams saw them for 7 straight, it was a different story. They squeaked by a Cavs team in 2015 that was missing Love and Irving, then needed an OKC choke job to lose to the Cavs in 2016. 

People acting like Curry is some all-time great is annoying as hell.

Not so fun in my high school years.  Elvin Bethea was about the only player to cheer for. I got a lump in my throat when he was elected to the Hall of Fame.  We also had 00 Kenny "Butterfingers” Burroughs.   A walking case of heartbreak.  I will never forget Pastorini hitting him in stride on a 50 yard pass with nothing but green in front of him and, of course, he dropped it.  Bum was a class guy. Friend dated on of his daughters.

I thought the 2015 cavs teams if love and Irving didn’t get hurt would’ve likely beaten them. Not sure if Lebron and Irving alone would’ve. Irving getting hurt game one basically doomed that cavs team. 

i do think curry is really good though. I don’t think all time great. He is an all time great shooter. but I’d argue easily top 10 in the league right now.

I was wondering when we're gonna start getting some player releases announced.  We've been hearing some from other teams already, and the Eagles have more releasing to do than a lot of teams.

I think foles is about the only one at this point that wouldn’t. At some point even if Hurts plays great but doesn’t win a SB they’ll begin to hate him too. There were people on the old board who hated mcnabb after losing to the Rams in the nfc title game.

Not quite but damn close.  The offenses I saw in high school were the Veer, Wishbone and Wing T.  Games where the QB threw less than 10 passes weren’t unusual.  Had a friend from east Texas that played against Earl Campbell in high school. He just couldn’t be tackled.  34” thighs they said when he came out of Texas.  Such a soft spoken and nice guy (we insured him, including his construction company).  Always loved that he would run in a TD and respectfully hand the ball to the ref.

I've watched a lot of Fields and I watched him on QB1 and on something before that. I'm a big fan of the kid. He's a real talent. Whether that translates to the NFL is another matter of course.
