I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I know that this is a meaningless twitter video, but if Hurts is one of those rare breeds that simply outworks everyone else, I think that he'll overcome his shortcomings and be a successful QB. If he can evolve into a better version of Dak, we can absolutely win another Superbowl if we surround him with real talent.

Gonna need an offensive draft like this to help him out:

Yeah, grrrr, what a **** practing that.  It's not like it's applicable in game situations and a part of his ability that makes him dynamic.

Seumalo, Herbig or Juriga. Eagles managed to fill center with Fraley, J Jackson, both UDFAs, then Kelce (6th rd). When you have Mudd and Stoutland as your OL coaches, not that hard to fill.

Pretty decent candidates for C/OG in this year’s draft.  Given how much they love versatile OL, I expect them to grab one.

Yeah, that’s not an NFL arm. Nonsense.

Lol overvaluing mailata, he just proved he can start in this league. Driscoll played well enough for a rookie and he will be better by 2022 if you have any faith in stoutland. Dillard at the very least is a capable backup. .

For this not to be a stupid move you have to move one inside if they're even capable of doing so. This team is too bad and has too many holes to be drafting two depth OTs back to back early in the draft.

Did you watch the Dallas game? I was hammered but vividly remember him getting smoked. I like Mailata’s potential and has already proven to be a good 7th round pick, but to say we don’t need to draft OL early because of him or any other O-Lineman on the team is ridiculous.

But there are roster limits.

Lane

Mailata

Dilliard

Driscoll

2 picks

How are you carrying six tackles on the roster?

Bump one into guard, someone inevitably will get hurt, one of them could get traded, redshirt one of them...

I think Brooks had the same horrible contract that Lane had?

Not sure but he’s probably one serious injury away from calling it a career

Lol one bad game? And you don't even remember if it was bad or not. He isn't perfect but he can start in this league as he showed this season.

Did I say you don't need to draft OL early? No, I said you don't draft two OTs back to back early, especially when you have as many holes as this team does plus you already have 2 starters and 2 backups. It's idiotic. And as someone else mentioned, where are you finding the roster spots to keep 6 OTs?

Seems easier to just use one of those second round picks on a guy who won't require an injury or position switch to make the team

I like your avatar. One of my favorite shows

I really hope the Eagles are seeing what offers are out there for Miles Sanders.  He has two years left on his contract and I doubt we sign him to a second deal.  Since we're likely not competing for the next two years, might as well see what you can get for him.

How to rebuild your team and set yourself up with potentially 4 first rounders in next year's draft:

We only trade Jason Kelce if he requests to be traded. He's an all-time Eagle, so we owe him that much.

Our offense will be built around broken plays with a low chance of success.  I guess we might as well practice that?

Run him hard this year to build up his stats and look to move him at the deadline and in the offseason.

His value is relatively low right now after an unimpressive season in which he was dinged up.  He’s one of the few Eagles who I think will be worth more after half the 2021 season transpires than he is now.

Can't seem to find any Mac Jones highlight reels. All I see are highlights of DeVonta Smith running around wide open.

Yeah those are good points

Not comparing him to these guys but Rodgers and Mahomes consistently make throws off balance and off their back foots.  I remember Peyton Manning used to work on these type of drills too.

It was close to a Winston Justice vs Giants in 07 level game.

I like Mailata but his ability should not effect any roster decision.

What do you think we could get for him realistically?

Yeah this is the mentality Howie had... thanks for helping win the Super Bowl, here’s a ridiculous contract.

At this point in his career, Sanders has proven to be a highly capable nfl starter with 3 down durability issues and the potential to improve.

Combine that with 2 years left of rookie cap control, and he’s worth a 3rd round pick at best.

If he can become a weapon this season, maybe we do better.
