Oklahoma WR Spencer Long. Pretty clear from the video that Jalen Hurts didn't leave the OU program better than he found it. Back to you, Tucker.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Tyrod Taylor would make a lot of sense. He always carries himself like a leader and you’d assume he’d help Hurts.

My bad, thought they all signed in 2019.

Mariota, less than 10 million.

Hill signed an extension, and he is more than the back up QB.  And the team with the worst cap situation in the NFL should not be used to make a point.

McCarron's cap number is 4 million.

Still, waiting for the proof that back ups are worth 10 million a year.

Your confusing me with someone else, I just said you do see some backups sign in that 4-10 mill range. Never said they were worth it.

Case in point: Spotrac lists Mitch Trubisky’s market value at $8.2 million.

I thought the blog hit an all time low recently.  Then Bacarty voluntarily posts about his crock size for no reason at all, totally unprovoked, then follows that up by offering to show it to another man on an internet message board.  Maybe they should meet somewhere in the middle, sign the combat waivers, and compete for the blog's first pants off dance off championship.

I have done so much scrolling without even reading lately. I missed this!

So after the 25th story being broke about Carson Wentz not responding to hard coaching does the blog finally think that maybe the choir boy Carson does deserve some blame for getting traded?

Apparently the story goes after Reich left  the Eagles made Groh OC Carson didn’t like the hard coaching style. So Groh gets fired next season Press is All mr nice guy and Carson gets labeled as being coddled and it’s all spirals from there.

So is Carson maybe somewhat to blame or is Howie the full on Devil?

The Eagles are going to be a disaster next year. Bad cap management and horrible talent evaluation and drafting. Not sure how either of those things have anything to do with Carson Wentz

Hes a Wentz hater, just put him on ignore like everyone else.

They were 4-11-1 without most of the veterans that are leaving, DeSean, Jeffrey MIA, Ertz 50% catch rate (horrible for a TE), Peters (2 decent starts), Malik (28 tackles, 2.5 sacks) Curry, Wentz (QBR 49.6).

They probably will keep the other veterans through 2021.

So if they're half-way healthy and have a good draft, the 2021 Eagles may be better than the 2020 Eagles.

The Eagles were 4-11-1 this past season so suggesting the team will be horrible this coming season means what?

This past season had a roster that going into the year we were expecting them to win the East and to do so with a winning record.  But we know what happened.  Been dealing with increasing injuries every year since 2017 but last year it just went to a whole other insane level.  On top of that our young franchise QB fell off a Fing cliff.  It was absolutely miserable to watch the team underachieve to such an extreme that it ended up costing a ton of jobs from the roster to the coaching staff (but not the FO?).

This year they are just going to be openly bad.  I think they might even be downright ugly for at least a month especially if we don't have preseason games again.  Almost tanking bad.  But the hope would be that by the end of the season your young shell of a roster that we will have and young coaching staff will start to jive and give us a lot of confidence on a team that will hopefully have a lot FO cap space heading into 2022 long with possibly 2 first round picks.

Possibly, but I think they won't be a bad as you think.  I think better coaching and teaching is on its way.  All we have read about the staff is they are all very good at helping players develop and improve.

Not a Wentz hater. More of a Wentz isn’t innocent guy. He cause some of his own trouble.

Good news for you Carson needs guys like you to coddle him so you could go follow your boy and become a Colts fan!

Another name I've been throwing around.  Would love to see him here as a backup.  Coincidentally, I think Hurts is going to see the same kind of career path as Taylor.

I don't think we should overlook how young and inexpierenced this coaching staff is for a lot of guys in their current roles.  Gotta be hopeful that Howie and Jeff made the right hired but we won't really know until we see it playout.  It's interesting how there really isn't that veteran coaching staff member for Sirianni to lean on for some guidence in this first year.  Maybe Stoutland is intended to be that?

Going to be a lot of growing pains and learning on the job all around this season.

Isn’t it obvious it’s his fault?

Carson is with the Colts now.  Let’s get past whining about players you don’t like who aren’t here anymore.

Guy he fought is an MMA trained fighter.  Not the best person to try to fight.

How about I post what the hell I want to and you can shut the hell up?

With the Rams, Noriega served as a strength assistant (2017-20) and strength and conditioning intern (2016). In 2017, his first full-time season with Los Angeles, Noriega worked under Eagles Vice President of Player Performance and former Rams head strength and conditioning coach Ted Rath, who was named the Strength Coach of the Year by the Professional Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. Additionally, Los Angeles finished as the healthiest team in the NFL based on adjusted games lost due to injury, according to Football Outsiders.

Hopefully, Rath and Noriega can make a difference, Rams have had far fewer injuries than the Eagles the last few years.

The other factor may be preseason, Doug coddled his veterans, Sirianni probably will be tougher on them.

Just looking over the FA list.  A player I've always loved is Denzel Perryman from the Chargers.  He's 29 so bringing him in makes no sense but would have loved to see him an Eagle coming out of the draft years back.

If I were a team like the Redskins that has a nice young talented core then I would do this.

Going to be a lot of growing pains and learning on the job all around this season.

On offense, 3 guys have OC experience, Sirianni, Steichen, Michael, Tanney has 9 years pro QB experience. Michael and Stoutland are experienced position coaches

Rocker, Wilson have experience on the defense.

But overall it is a younger group.

The few videos I have seen of him and his press conference, none of that makes me think he's going to be any sort of imposing presence that isn't going to take anything for anyone on the roster.

I dunno.  I look at the Redskins and they have drafted very well over the last 4-5 years.  I think their draft picks are more valuable to them as a team because they actually hit on their 1st rounders.
