I think the Eagles will love Pitts. If we don't go QB and he's there at 6, I think we're taking him. I'm convinced he has the highest floor and the highest upside of all the WRs in the draft.

Most years I’m all about positional value in the draft. This roster is barren of elite talent and good young players. Get me elite talent at 6. If that’s Pitts, Chase, Sewell, etc, I don’t really care. Just get a blue chip talent. 

Just as long as we don’t draft an RB in the first two or three rounds I’m good. We need help all over.

I feel like Cincinnati either needs to give Burrow a franchise LT or his top target in Chase.  Sewell is the right call, but I'm sure Chase is a very, very appealing pick to them.  If Sewell is off the board, I don't see how Chase falls past Cincy.  I don't really want Chase at 6, so I'm happy to see them take him off our hands.

1 thing that must not be done...and I feel like Howie's FO's have been particularly guilty of brash philosophical shifts multiple times before...don't overanalyze the SB.  It's 1 game.

The biggest learning point from the game is that it helps when the opposing offense is missing their LT and their HC is completely distracted all week.  Trying to recreate the Buccs' good but not great defense won't do that for you.

Look at all the teams that have earned first round byes for the last 5 years.  Even if it's the same team, it's a different roster, different year.  That's a somewhat workable sample size.  Those are the teams winning 12 games.  That means they are consistently doing something right.  Those are the real trends.

Just don't look too hard at Baltimore.  Their blueprint sucks.

Depending on the board they could be strong trade back candidates as well with the Eagles being the next pick. All this smoke about Eagles and QBs could mean someone who really wants Fields or Lance could easily jump them.

Cincy is Sewell, Chase if Sewell is gone. They have a significant need on their OL.

Yup.  And that's exactly what they want.  If someone trades in front of us to draft Lance and takes Cincy out of play for Sewell, I'd tip my cap to the FO's rumor machine on that one.

The show has a weird dynamic. Berman doesn’t fit with Bo, who too often details the conversation with jokes and quips and schticks that haven’t been funny in a long time.

Zach is the only one I really like. Sheil is a little too arrogant for me, and Bo is always making remarks that aren't funny. Plus I can't really take his eye rolling/opening he does every 10 seconds.

May still need to add Foles or Alex Smith for veteran depth.

I don’t mind BwF or Bo unless he goes on the woke tangents. Otherwise it’s entertaining enough and I like that it’s different than every other usual Eagles podcast. 
 

I am struggling with Eagle Eye though. Zangaro and Reuben Frank have a boring, awkward chemistry. After the second listen I picked up on how many times Frank says "Um” or "Uh” and it’s literally at least 100 times a pod. That’s all I can hear now.

Roob is similar to Bo in that he interrupts decent conversation with dumb comments about bands or players who played HS ball around Philly.

Is Pitts an Eagles fan? Kinda have to draft him at that point.

I actually like Eagle Eye. Sure, they're a little socially awkward, but they're easy going and have decent opinions.
