I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Hurts sucks and even if the team stinks it would give us someone to root for.

He's on a pedestal right now. Why would fans want to tarnish it?

As soon as he has a bad game people will be trashing him

Yes, we know they were average drafters with the worse expected value of draft picks - and the Wentz deal is the primary reason why, it's also was a major factor in winning a SB.

Eagle Fans: "I give my left nut to win a Superbowl"

Howie:  "Pay up."

Eagle Fans:  "Just kidding"

Carson Wentz and winning the Super Bowl are prior to the last 3 horrendous drafts.  The reason the Eagles are where they are now, is due to the last 3 drafts being a failure.

Howie recovered a decent chunk from that Wentz trade by trading Bradford for a 1. Sorry, that’s not a good enough excuse.

2020 Kyle Pitts by where he lined up (Rec-Rec yds-Rec TD): TE right (12-211-3) TE left (7-242-2) Slot right (6-96-1) Slot left (6-49-2) Wide right (9-139-2) Wide left (3-33-2)

Offense is weird, GB has Rodgers, so their ranking in points for the last five years:  1, 15, 14, 21, 4

2016:  Rodgers is lights out, meh RB, meh TE (Rodgers), Nelson, Adams, Cobb at WR, Bakhtiari LT, Lang RG pro bowl

2017:  Rodgers only starts 7 games

2018:  Rodgers not as effective, but 25/2 TD/Int, Jones, RB, Adams, Cobb, Valdes-Scantling, WR, Graham, Kendricks TE, Bakhiarti LT, all pro, Linsley C, Baluga RT

2019:  Rodgers, Jones, Adams, Valdes-Scantling, WR, Graham, TE, Bakhiarti LT, pro bowl, Linsley C, Bulaga RT

2020:  Rodgers, Jones, Adams, Valdes-Scantling, WR, Tonyan TE, Bakhiarti LT, all pro, Jenkins LG pro bowl, Linsley C all pro, Patrick UDFA at RG, Turner moves from RG to RT, replacing Bulaga.

Go figure, without major changes between 2019 and 2020, GB score 509 points v 376.

Cowboys getting Wilson would be fascinating from a football philosophy perspective. Load up on offense, hire a defensive genius (not Dan Quinn imo, but a Brandon Staley type...) to compensate for defensive flaws.

Seattle would be morons to trade Wilson and do so to a conference rival.

Wilson says he doesnt want to be traded.  He's a top 5 QB and in his prime.  It wont come close to happening.  It's funny they're talking about it on ESPN like he could seriously be traded.

Yes cause jordy Nelson having 1257 yards, Adams 3 yards away from 1000 and Cobb weren’t arguably one of the best trios of WRs in the league in 2016. And their oline was still good. Also had Jared cooks and rodgers at tight end. And his oline was considered top 5 and PFF had them ranked as the fifth best. It’s like if you give a good or great QB talent around them they play they tend to live up to their potential.

Would be fun listen to the voicemails to see what teams are offering

This may be the dumbest thing you see on twitter today.

Curious how far he's willing to go with this. Is he going to hold out? What's the HC going to do? He pretty much said he went to Texans because of Watson

If Pitts is Waller you automatically pass 28 other teams at the TE position

Me too. I am sure they really want to keep him, but in the meantime it doesn't hurt to drive up the cost by not answering the phone.

Good god.  I would burn down the Eagles offices if this was the draft.  Horrendous.

Depends on who was on the board. Just based on rounds and projections it looks like a lot of missed opportunities, and lesser talent picks. I like Terry in the 5th though

I dunno, I read today that Mr. Potato Head is now gender neutral and just Potato Head now...

I remember watching some Memphis games and seeing Gainwell make plays and get some draft hype from the TV guys. Then I think he sat out this year. I had forgotten about him, and just remembered him and got excited to go check him out. I started with this highlight video, and now I dont think I feel like watching anymore. Im afraid hes way too slow.
