I mentioned Dyami Brown a few days ago. He’s apparently a very good blocker, something Sirianni mentioned as important.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

My uncle coached him at West Mecklenburg HS in Charlotte, NC. Still keeps in touch with him. Helluva athlete and a weight-room junkie.

Could be a great pick in Round 3.

He’s good.

havent seen him yet.

Coxie is a known name that sorta gets slept on as a bigger WR. He blocks too.

I wonder how they will view Reagor who actively avoided blocking at all times in college. I never paid attention to what he did last year. But his blocking completely turned me off from him for a while leading up to the draft.

Tamorrion Terry competes out there as a blocker too.

I’m not sure Dyami Brown is "X” sized if Pittman is what they want. I just like that Brown can win on different levels of the field, is smooth, makes contested catches.

Caught a lot of UNC games over past few years. Brown was fun to watch.

And hey, if Hurts doesn't wow them in 2021, they'll be in a position to draft his teammate in 2022.

'Throw in the towel for Howell'

OK, that's pretty good.  Thanks for the laugh.

what ever happened to Charleston Rambo? Is he in this class or is he staying for a super senior season? Havent seen any talk about him at all and I know I, and some others in the blog have liked him.

I think he just transferred to Miami.

Tylan Wallace looks like more of a run the CB out of the play kind of WR rather than a blocker. Though, his style otherwise does not shy from contact. It may be more by design of the offense/coach not asking the WRs to block.

When you go back to the 2019 stuff, theres a noticeable difference in speed that he used to have pre-ACL that was just lacking this year.

I think he can be an absolute steal. But hes very much in the mold of Reagor which is sure to turn a lot of people off at this point.

what an idiot. Ive been waiting to draft him in 2 drafts now and he refuses to come out. Is he scared of the NFL?

I'm all for the mold of Reagor.  After the rookie year, just not Reagor.

He did just transferred to Miami. He still only 21 years old he doesn’t turn 22 until August 10. So even when he comes out next year he’s going to be 22 and turn 23 a month before the season starts. I was one of the people who liked him as of late round pick. The kid has speed. However he only weighs 175 at 6 foot one. If you could somehow put on another 10  pounds and produce at Miami I like him to be still a middle to late round pick

Sure, but Lawrence, Fields, and Lance are not Luck, Watson, or McNair. You (the generic you, not the you you) can compare them all you like but comparison is not equivalency. And as long as we're doing comparisons, Hurts is more like McNair than any of those three guys.

Air McNair at Alcorn State?  Not sure I agree but not a horrible comp. Hurts was way more accurate as a passer in college.

i think Kary Vincent Jr is being slept on

May be the best slot corner this year.  Not sure he is being slept on by any teams.

Good interview on wip with Albert breer. It was a good listen and some better behind the scenes info. I’d post the link but the app doesn’t allow me to copy and paste it

Ok draft guys this prospect is becoming my favorite CB.

Eric Stokes from Georgia

6’1 185lbs

He’s got all the talent in the world but a bit sloppy at times with the technique and even though he had like 4 ints his hands are suspect.

He has speed athleticism and good ball skills. With the right teaching Stokes could be a very good CB in the 2nd round.

I wasn’t really in but now

Yes, we know they were average drafters with the worse expected value of draft picks - and the Wentz deal is the primary reason why, it's also was a major factor in winning a SB.

Eagle Fans: "I give my left nut to win a Superbowl"

Howie:  "Pay up."

Eagle Fans:  "Just kidding"

Oh that's not remotely true... they didnt have to pay much at all to get the Super Bowl.  Howie bought into his own hype AFTER the Super Bowl... and created this mess.  Try to spin a web of lies, but I'll be right here to shed light on the truth you are busy trying to obfuscate and point people to the reality of all of the failures.   They failed at the personnel level with free agency, the draft and contract structures.  They failed at a coaching level, as the coaches refused to use the players that they did have properly.  They failed from a player level as the players also seemed to get a little puffed up by the Super Bowl as well.

The players are paying the price, nearly all the coaches have been dumped... but the architect remains.  Ironically, he's likely the most responsible, yet has the most security.

And you heard it from an expert in abject nonsense, folks.

I stumbled upon him last draft as a later round CB, so he's one of the names I know.  Guess he was draft eligible last year, but stayed in school and is now an early round prospect.
