Roob is the ultimate bandwagon jumper from Quarterback to Quarterback. He’s done this all the way back to Donovan McNabb. He’ll be all about them and as soon as they start playing poorly he immediately jumps ship (he kind of did that last year in 2019 then jumped back on when wentz got hot). He’s done that from mcnabb to kolb to Vick to foles to Sanchez to Bradford to wentz to hurts. He’s good for unique stats but he routinely does this with The eagles starting QBs

First, your ratio of thousands of protesters and a 100 instigators is way off. That might have been somewhat true for that first month. After that, pretty much the majority of people "protesting" were involved in mayhem. Second, is your thought process being applied to the events at the Capitol Building?

IMO you need to keep in mind these nightly prime time shows on CNN, MSNBC, and FOX are largely editorial programs, which branch away from a purely objective reporting of the news. 24-hour news channels are, by definition, in it to make a profit so they are at least somewhat slanted toward their sponsors The same goes for sports talk shows. It sells a lot higher viewership to claim Jalen Hurts has taken over the Eagles starting QB job going forward by playing great, and there will be Wentz drama moving forward — than it does to say Hurts was merely serviceable, and the Eagles will likely need to go back to Wentz in 2021.

I'm not sure how many people were there at the Capitol. Did all of them charge into the White House? I think you and I are both smart enough to answer that question. Some people were there peacefully just protesting what they feel was an unfair election. Unfortunately, everyone there gets lumped into the same group because of those who caused chaos. Just like the protests from this summer.

They just can't be stupid and kick it beyond 2022. 2023 can't be touched with this, so that the new GM and coach in 2022 have some wiggle room. But... this is cleaning up 2 contracts that NEVER should have been handed out like they were.

The term "Fake News" has been uniquely used to undermine faith and credibility of credible reporting on issues. It goes hand and hand with the campaign that has gone on pre and post election to undermine the credibility of the election. Not to get too partisan but the ridiculous unsupported allegations that were filed in multiple jurisdictions is disturbing and I think only possible because people don't believe what is reported. I have done observing work, recount observations, absentee ballot reviews in several elections. I have handed out campaign materials for people running for office over the last 20 years. I have every confidence that Trump won fairly in 2016 just as Biden won fairly in 2020. People, however, don't believe it. Part of the reason is they rely on people who confirm whatever bias they have. Like I said I'm not talking about Trump I agree 100% with what you've said here. 9 minutes ago, Alphagrand said: Best part of the sketch for me was, the first two menu items Terry Jones read didn’t have any spam in it 😂 Me and a bubby used to walk around work and sing that song

January 8, 20214 yr 1 hour ago, austinfan said: As far as the election, it's easy to separate rumor from fact, 60 or so law suits were filed to try an overturn the election results, all ended up being thrown out, some with Judges trying to restrain their contempt. Why? Because while politicians can say anything they want in front of cameras with impunity, go into a court of law and lie to a judge and see what happens to you! Which is why in these lawsuits there were no specific claims of fraud, because the lawyers for Trump couldn't document any, and were smart enough not to lie on the record. But it also meant that their filing were basically frivolous, to the point where a fed up District Court Judge has considered recommending action against the lawyers who filed these claims. Now Dan Patrick, Lt Governor of Texas (and far right wing talk show host) offered a million dollars for anyone who could provide evidence of election fraud, the only claimant that I know of is PA Lt Governor Fetterman, who sent Patrick evidence of a couple cases of Trump supporters committing election fraud, but that lying POS in Texas has reneged on his offer and refuses to pay up. https://www.texastribune.org/2020/11/10/texas-dan-patrick/ https://www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/texas/article/Dan-Patrick-1M-voter-fraud-reward-mocked-lawmaker-15719509.php So it's not that hard, just do a little leg work on Google and apply common sense, anyone can make outrageous claims on the Internet, but "where's the beef?" Right. Because the people being asked didn't have access to video cameras, information and other data controlled by counties in OTHER STATES, i,e. the people committing the crimes, there was no evidence. Because when a candidate sets historical records for support among minorities, for a Republican, in almost every urban area in the country, except for 5 counties representing major metropolitan areas with massive turnout (more than the voter registration rolls) where he is at an overwhelming deficit, there definitely wasn't any fraud. You always win Ohio by 9 points and lose Michigan and Wisconsin. Always. When you win Florida by four times as much as last time, you always lose everywhere else. Because Florida isn't a representative sample of the country or anything. Nor is Ohio. The election winner usually loses Ohio. Ballot drops at 5 AM, where some overwhelming number of votes comes in from some unknown place, and changes an election outcome is totally normal. That happens every election. I always remember random ballot dumps for the candidate that is behind in multiple states. I must not have seen any of the videos posted in Michigan of a car speeding up to a location at 4:30 AM and boxes being unloaded. I guess that was all faked. Maybe I dreamt it up. As were the people that witnesses these activities were lying. Hundreds of thousands of ballots bullet marked for one candidate. Origin unknown. Totally normal. Voting software that is internet connected, networked throughout the state. The ability to electronically "adjudicate" ballots. No big deal to be able to change votes with software. Reports from GA and other places of observes being denied access to counting rooms and ballot summary sheets... no big deal. What could happen. Seeing vote totals change in real time on TV. I'm sure it was the network's fault. Not the data feed they were hooking into posting the numbers from the state. Totally normal. It's also standard operating procedure to stop counting when one candidate is too far ahead. It's not necessarily to see how many ballots you need to swing the outcome. It's just, because. If you are unsure you can always lie about a water main break as the reason to stop. I could go on and on. There are hundreds of stories and examples... I haven't even gotten to any from the west coast fraud operations. If you think there was not voter fraud, that there is no "evidence" of it, and that the obvious facts should be ignored and believe that the country elected a 47-year failed politician with dementia, who couldn't get 20 people to show up and hear him speak, over the guy that had 50,000 people waiting for him a corn field at midnight, I don't know what to tell you. More than a few people have shown statistically that the only answer to virtually all of these outcomes is substantial fraud. The bottom line is the corrupt oligarchy has been re-installed, and elections are now gone. Your only chance to have a voice has been stolen, along with a presidential election. Your kids will grow up in a very different type of country than you did. It's pretty sad. They control election outcomes now at near 100%, and so no "outsider" that actually works for the people, families and businesses of this country will ever emerge, again. It just won't be possible. Every four years you will get some false choice, and it won't matter. The oligarchy will do as it pleases, and most will be relegated to debt slavery. Now that we have the oligarchy "installed" again, and they have removed elections from us. What can we expect? Well, first off, let's get back to war. We need to invade or bomb somebody, always for a made up reason, unfortunately more citizens will be sent to die. Collateral damage. Get the jobs back to China and Mexico. Get the immigration engine going. Growth back down to 1% or less. Many of the small businesses have been killed. Let's keep them that way. Maybe you will get a stimulus check though. Start up more graft programs like foreign aid, our politicians have been starved for cash for the last few years and more than a few beaks need to be wetted. Re-join that Iran deal, actually get some cash together on a plane and get it over there. We've got to get some pol sons on some foreign company boards to get that foreign aid money. Oh, and don't worry about Mitch! The GA senate races didn't matter in any practical sense. He and his "republican" buddies make more money in the minority anyway. He will sell some votes where necessary and get some things passed. Your most basic rights are going or gone. They want that second amendment, but they have made amazing process in removing your first amendment. The oligarchy now decides what you are allowed to say and not say. Disobey and you will be canceled and silenced. We are transitioning into a new kind of country, one much less free, with much less rights, and one where you don't have a say, anymore. It's disgusting that our ancestors fought and died for these freedoms, and most are content to just laugh, go with the majority, allow themselves to be fully indoctrinated with the lies they consume on television every day. We let this happen. It's all of our fault. What to do now? Donate to the Biden foundation. Wear a mask (or two). Watch CNN, pay close attention to the death count. Be afraid. Stay home. Close your business. Long dark winter ahead.

Just like how 18 different know nothings all jumped on the stupid article by McLane about a physical altercation, with no proof nor any attempt to get an independent confrontation. But, McLane wrote something so it must all be 100% true, even though he didn't provide any actual evidence or sources himself... and the only name he did mention specifically went out of his way to say that it was 100% incorrect. All we know is the Miles Sanders has Hurts' back (and wasn't paying attention to practice before the Week 17 game), and that Hurts didn't like being pulled from that game at the moment it happened. Miles Sanders can 'claim' that 'no one' was happy about the move to put in Sudfeld, but I'm going to disregard his statement as projecting his own thoughts on to the rest of the team, because it was obvious that that was going to happen... to anyone who was paying attention. And Hurts sucked in that game. So, him being pulled isn't some ridiculous move. When your yards per carry average is higher than your yards per attempt average as a QB... that's a terrible indictment. So, he can't complain about being pulled out.

In New York City alone, during a good seven month stretch, there wasn't one single day where protesters didn't break windows or set something on fire. Not one single day! The thing that's misunderstood (and why these protests on the left and right are more dangerous than in the past) is that BLM was never "organized" in the way say civil rights marches in the 1960s were organized. BLM is a website set up by 3 black feminists who are way out there (sounds like typical left wing graduate student sociologist rants). https://blacklivesmatter.com/about/ However, they have no control or authority over the marches, which were organized spontaneously over Facebook and other social media. Which meant no one was able to police the marchers, or keep anti-fa or other anarchist types out, or prevent looters (in Philly, they were organized in teams with SUVs to carry away the loot) from using the marchers as cover. Footage of the marches show again and again a few individuals (many in black with full masking) breaking windows or firebombing cars while the rest of the marchers were peaceful marching. In a similar fashion, the "steal the election" protest was organized off social media, while there were some "professional" agitators involved, most were simply misguided souls drinking the "Q" I just used the EMB's #1 Cliché or other such nonsense (the baseless rumors of widespread fraud in the most closely monitored and watched election in American history). The riot was instigated by Trump, Rudy and Trump Jr., encouraging them to march on the Capital building, though I doubt they were smart enough to understand what they unleashed. Mobs run on their own logic, all it takes is a few agitators or just some idiots who get carried away to change a protest into a full scale riot. We'll know in a few weeks why the Capital police failed to anticipate and take proper measures to secure the building, they had ample warning, they knew there was a large crowd that might potentially try to disrupt the vote count, they knew some of the marchers might be armed, they had the precedent of Michigan to see the potential for a violent confrontation. The problem for police is how to handle these marches, you can't coordinate with the organizers b/c they are mostly internet entities who may not even "exist." There is nothing to keep me from creating front organizations on Facebook and call for a march, heck, for all we know some Eagle fan is organizing a march on the Linc right now.
