Thinking about Reagor, one thing I noticed again and again is he consistently gets separation, he's hard to tackle in the open field, yet he doesn't look that fast - wonder what film analysis says about his on field speed? Whereas Desean looked fast, Maclin didn't, due to his smooth stride, wonder if that's the case with Reagor.

Coming out of college, Reagor was tracked as the second fastest WR after Ruggs,

Ruggs reached 21.94 mph and Reagor was second at 20.80 mph.

To put that into perspective, according to NFL NextGen Stats, just three Eagles reached faster speeds in 2019: DeSean Jackson (21.4, 20.86), Miles Sanders (21.01, 20.90) and Nelson Agholor (21.11).

Only Pederson would take one of the fastest WRs in the NFL and turn him into a slot WR, then push Howie to draft for speed.

And

reagor showed special Jackson-like angle-destroying speed at Baylor, and then got too bulked at the combine and ran slower. He got a little quicker for the regular season but still didnt have it all back, and didnt always seem to be going full speed either.

In this draft, Tylan Wallace is going to have underrated speed, and Reggie Roberson is another guy who ran away from people with great speed and had a serious knee injury.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I know Sewell and Slater are hot names in draft projections but there is an issue that could push them down in the draft: they both opted out of playing in 2020. Now, I don't blame them in the least for their decisions, but the fact remains that neither will have played a snap or practiced in a year and a half by the time TC rolls around. What with Covid and limited access to players, this raises serious questions about fitness, character (commitment to staying in shape), and the like.\

The bust factor for either of these guys is unusually high, which is not to say that if Sewell is there at #6 I wouldn't grab him.

Mac Jones’ name is actually Michael McCorkle Jones. McCorkle is probably some family name.

If the Bengals pass on Sewell at 5 Burrow should demand a trade to the Colts.

Pederson had no clue how to use him. Not saying he's a stud but he showed enough flashes to make it obvious there is something there.

most underrated movie ever

Totally agree.  When they're all locked in that panic room, and they are going back and forth about boobs and big mouth vaginas, I LOL like a 5 year old.

Any of his players.  The wide receiver screens to Greg Ward were infuriating.  We had 3 speed guys available in Hightower, Watkins and Reagor and he picks Ward, who is the slowest by far, to run a play where quickness and speed are required.

I'm curious to see what the Bengals do if Sewell goes before 5.  They need a premier T badly to protect Burrow.  I wouldn't be surprised if they reached for Slater if this happens.

Maybe we get really lucky and the law of averages kicks in for this draft.  Howie has gotten it wrong so many times, it's possible math takes over and we get a few solid players.

Burrow played with Chase at LSU, and I’m sure he’d love to have him, not over Sewell but definitely over Slater. Of course that’s if his opinion matters, and they can wait to get a tackle in the 2nd and or 3rd round.
If history means anything to that franchise they had probably one of the best, if not the best left tackle ever in Munoz, who protected Ken Anderson and Boomer (Boomer was a lefty), whatever, then they’ll draft Sewell.  He’s the only offensive tackle in the draft that moves the needle so to speak.

How have first-round picks changed over time?

2005-2010 -
10% (of first-round selections were) RBs - 18% DBs - 11% LBs - 8% QBs

2017-2020
- 5% RBs - 12% DBs - 20% LBs - 12% QB

Reminds me of a year ago when most of us were saying "there’s no way the team can be as injured as they were in 2019”

Well technically they weren't "as injured" as they were in 2019.

For like 5 years in a row my buddy and I would get wrecked on st paddy’s day and use the Dublin line. We always competed to see how often it worked but were too wrecked by the end of the day to know who won.

And whenever I see a chili’s I say now there’s a place that got ass on tap

Oh thanks.  Can you keep your iPhone on speaker so we can all hear what the team is thinking from the war room?

He’s basically the polar opposite of Jaylen Hurts.

The Eagles should just accept you can't build a team in one draft, it's going to take a bunch of avenues to add talent.

The biggest turnover will be in the secondary, I think Gannon has a totally different vision of what he wants, and most of our current DBs don't fit.

LB could be transformed with coaching and adding a legitimate WLB.

The DL is solid upfront, they need depth and development projects.

The OL needs depth, WR needs one stud, TE needs depth, RB needs a power back.

I'd fix the offense this draft to give Hurts the best chance to develop, then carpet bomb defense in 2022.

The Eagles have emphasized the importance of OL and DL.  They will add and improve the LOS no matter what.

Re RB, Sanders is good.  But watching the play-off teams this season and our SB season, a reliable and physical RB who can get solid gains consistently is critical to move the chain and score TD.  Either via FA or draft, they need to address that need.

Those physical RBs are helpful in the playoffs, as you said, but they have a 1-3 year shelf life.

I don’t think we need to invest in that need until the team is somewhat ready to compete.

Just thinking about quarterbacks in next years draft.  I can see Bo Nix climbing the charts.  He was erratic but impressive as a freshman but last year was a mess for Auburn.  They hired Bryan Harsin away from Boise State and he's produced good quarterbacks during his time there.

Nix is an impressive athlete and has good size for the NFL at 6-3 225.  He's a darkhorse for me next year.

want no part of Mac Jones, thanks
