You like Gowan more than the other UCF corner Robinson?

Both very good , but different styles , one is physical  , the other speed and finesse , both can play man , I just think CBs with speed are safer

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Honestly Evans doesn’t separate often , he out muscles, out jumps

QBs let him make plays

Sure, but Evans’ play was on a much higher level and he had a lot better movement skills. That’s why Evans was a top 10 pick and Adams will probably go day 3 somewhere.

Yep

Shakur  Brown is a day 2 CB , who I think can make a GM look smart 3 years from now. Can certainly play the position at a high level and has all the tools , only lacking  experience

Watson's case is going to be interesting. Could be the start of QBs trying to take power

Possibly, but I think Watson’s case is unique in that he’s a 25 year-old proven commodity on a new mega deal with a truly dysfunctional organization.  The Texans have been a train wreck since Bob McNair passed away and Cal took over.  The only reason O’Brien lasted as long as he did was the perception that he developed Watson as an NFL QB.  Without him, Watson has shown that he would have flourished even without O’Brien.

I think it’s just as likely the NFL is headed for a watershed moment, where QBs are no longer paid the exorbitant salary they currently command relative to other positions.  They’ll always be the highest paid because they handle the football on every play and distribute the offense, but teams won’t continue to eat the massive dead money they are this offseason

It’s not a matter of moving on, it’s a matter of having a dysfunctional franchise which results in coaches and players not buying in.

He bought in a few months ago when he cashed the check. I’d never trade a guy I just signed.

TBF, Frieremuth is a prototypical TE, Pitts is not.  Pitts keeps getting compared to Vernon Davis who was injured quite a bit early on and had his head up his ass, he admits that. 2009-2016 his numbers are pretty good, but if Pitts stays healthy and has a good attitude he’ll be even better, way better.
Pitts is 70-80 recs, 1000-1200 yds 10-12 tds, he has the highest floor, there isn’t anyone that has concerns about his production in the NFL.

Larry Fitzgerald, only bigger.

Chase 4 reps short of DK. Not that it means much but still impressive.

Also apparently everyone is running sub 4.4 at this thing. Big grain of salt there.

No 40 , broad jump ,vert etc for chase?

Wallace wasn’t at his best this year as he was recovering from the ACL. I think he’ll be under drafted accordingly.

They have Farley running a 4.24

Are NFL teams actually at the EXOS pro day or is this live streamed?

Lol, these pro day numbers are hilarious.

Yea, he's a nice prospect.  OSU has a good track record of WR (Blackmon just had too many off the field issues).

Dez Bryant, Justin Blackmon, Tyreek HIll (prior to kicked off), James Washington.  Wallace will be very good in the NFL.  Would be more than happy to get him in the middle rounds.

I think we're going to find 100% of the EXOS pro day numbers to be better than actual.

It’s being filmed and then distributed to each team

Schwartz will run a 4 flat based on these times

EXOS would be like "Mac Jones 4.35”

And no one has hands like Fitz.

Wait a minute...so Jamar Chase sat out a season, had a full calendar year to prepare for a hyper inflated pseudo combine that has everyone running 4.3’s...and he didn’t participate?

No way at #6.

Meh. He’s running it at his pro day in front of actual team scouts and execs. Don’t see it nattering that he’s not when it’s clearly exaggerated and no ones there to see it.

It's much harder to fake bench reps than it is to overestimate 40 times. Chase is a 4.45 guy on tape.

That’s fine is he does it at his pro day.  If he sidesteps those drills altogether, it’s a problem.

Yes. Faster and is good in zone but excels in man coverage.

How long till one of these pro days clocks a DT running 4.3?

What would be really funny is if he still ran a 5.0

Expect Chase to run a low 4.4 or high 4.3 at his pro day....Yes it will be exaggerated
