I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Don't know how you can trash a player who raised around $40M for Texas hurricane relief and think people will believe it

So of the QBs not Lawrence or Wilson and of the OL not Sewell, which are better than the CBs in the first round that will be available after 6.  Not receivers, QBs and OL because that is what you said. BTW, 2022 may not be a good QB draft class.

What CBS in the first round do you think project to shutting down the WRs on the nfls best offenses so that we can beat them 13-10?

The same way you can trash a guy who built a charity foundation that includes feeding the homeless and less fortunate, building a sports complex for underprivileged kids in Haiti, as well as taking time out of your personal life to connect with children who suffer from some sort of life threatening disease and people lap it up.

Good point. Didn't understand the hate of him either

Size 48 seams really small for Lane Johnson?

My favorites to be starting QB week 1

1. Nick Foles

2. Justin Fields

3. Mac Jones

4. Jameis Winston

5. Nate Sudfeld

6. Hurts

Your list sucks.

Sudfeld on any list to start 🤣

Naw i checked it out. Usually 48-50 for his (based off other game worn by lane). Add on it has +4 length. You’d be surprised there’s some guys like Jeremy maclin who was a 42 which seems ridiculously small for a 6 foot guy at his weight.

Jacoby Brissett, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cam Newton, Tyrod Taylor, Andy Dalton, Alex Smith.....plenty of QB's to choose from to compete with/back up Hurts.

Even with our abysmal track record of drafting WRs, I’d rather take our chances on Smith, Chase, or even Pitts, than draft a CB at 6. CBS are so hard to tell if they’ll make it at the next level. Every position is, but I feel like CB is the biggest crap shoot

So a slight WR, a WR in a TE body and a WR with a year off and really one year production are less of a crap shoot than a stellar technique CB (Surtain) with good size or a fast, big and sticky CB (Farley) that is an athletic freak?     Both CBs, BTW provide solid run support.  More of a crapshoot than receivers that migh be targeted six times a game, one of which really offers nothing in blocking (Smith), one of which isn’t an online blocker (Pitts) and one that needs refining (Chase). Pitts might be able to play TE and some X, Chase might be able to play X and Z but not developed enough to say and Smith might be able to play slot (waste as there are plenty of slot receivers in this draft) and questionable at Z.  Horn may be a bit of a crapshoot but I don’t think Farley and Surtain are.

Surtain doesn't have speed and is stiff.  I really see him going the Malcolm Jenkins route and being a better safety in the NFL.  Not a top 10 corner.  Farley hasn't played in a year.  Horn is the best of the bunch if you ask me but I'm not touching any of those corners until pick 15.

42 for Maclin is about right. I wore a 42 at 5'11 195 when I played and bulked up. Im skinny now at 170-175, lol. But at least its all muscle. No more packing on the bulk for me, lol.

Not opposed to a CB in RD 1, but there are some intriguing options in the mid rounds too.

Robert Rochell is one of them. Slowly moving up draft boards.

To be perfectly honest he might be your best left tackle on that entire team from the day he is drafted by the Eagles. I think he’s a better left tackle today then Dillard or mailata and still has tremendous upside. So I’m not gonna play him at guard simply because I have two other guys I can only play tackle. He’s my best left tackle I’m gonna play him at left tackle.

Brooks is what he is but he still gonna be on this team. I can project him as my starter. If Sewell is my best LT I’m not moving him if Brooks gets hurt. I’d be downgrading in two spots

I also don’t think it’s just a given seumalo just moves over for kelce and they don’t look to find a replacement in the draft. Heck they had Driscoll during their workouts play center.

I'm not sure any rookie that took off a year from the sport is going to be better than a veteran even an inexperienced veteran like Mailata.  I think he could be a better LT than Mailata.  I don't think I would give him that job.  The reality is the players we think are the starters for the entire right side of the line missed most of last season and are over 30.  I think Sewell is someone that just gives them flexibility.  He's a high upside low downside player at a high value position.  I think if Chase isn't available that he might be the next best pick.

I'm sure he wears the smallest one he can to prevent d-linemen from grabbing onto it.

Just so we are clear, an offense with Dillard, Seumalo, Kelce, Brooks and Johnson with Hurts and Sanders in the backfield and Goedert at TE, Reagor in the Z, Fulgham as the X and the best of Watkins, Hightower, Ward in the slot are only going to score 13 because none of our WRs are going to progress in year two.  So much for high ceiling. Yes, we need depth that can progress on the OL.  Mailata as swing T but upgrade at C/G is a need and well served in this draft. Depth at TE (not a great draft but Jackson intrigues me). Our biggest needs on O are probably served in the middle rounds.

If Farley is there at six, I would grab him. Several prognosticators have him as #5 but QBs should drive him to us. Jeremiah has as #5, for example.  If they trade Slay, then grab a mid round CB to develop like Stokes, who needs five pounds of muscle.

Yes.  That offense will be horrific.  Bottom 2 in the nfl.  If we win games 13-10, the defense will need to give up only a FG because the 7 will come from defensive TDs the other way.

I’d 42 seems kind of small. It’s below 44 and 44 is a large/medium in term of size. Westbrook was usually a 48 in Reebok when he played. More amazing Greg ward is a 38 which is smaller than desean’s usual 40

When you change brands it is completely different. There is no universal size chart for NFL jerseys that all the brands have to follow.

I’m more of i don’t think the eagles if they extend mailata are going to keep Sewell, dillard, mailata, Sewell and lane all on the team at their prices. To me dillard is strictly a LT. Mailata can play both imo, lane is what he is and Sewell gives you some versatility. However let’s be reasonable about mailata. He’s entering the last year of his rookie contract. I think we both believe he has more upside than vaitai and is indeed younger than vaitai when vaitai got to FA. I also think he played as well as vaitai outside of the one SB year vaitai played. But i also think vaitai getting 10 games as a rookie helped when lane got suspended. So mailata if he gets to FA could make as much as vaitai. So you are going to See a jump in his salary if you extend him. So brings me to that’s a lot of money to have lane making what he is, Sewell top 6 draft money, dollar first round money and then mailata as well as nice amount of money to Brooks and seumalo and kelce potentially being back. So not just at OT they have a ton at OLine. Which the entirety of the oline is fine. Just point it out. I’d be willing to bet someone gets traded out of that group

to me I’d take Sewell over chase only cause i don’t know what dillard is, lane might have his body be deteriorating on him and mailata i think can be your future LT or RT depending on how they see Sewell.

You keep saying that about Surtain but I don’t see it on the tape.  Sewell, Chase (who has less tape than Farley), Rousseau (same tape as Chase), Parsons (More raw than Farley) haven’t played in a year.  Horn is the best of the bunch? Maybe someday but not now.  He has potential based on some of his tape.

I do believe that Farley has better speed than Surtain but I would be surprised if Sustain runs above a 4.5.  Stiff?  I just don’t see that.  Great technique and instincts. All indications are that Farley is fully recovered and lost no speed.
