I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Back to the blue chipper.  Who would you consider a blue chip prospect in this draft?

I probably have a looser definition but Lawrence, Wilson, Sewell, Chase, Parsons (not saying I want him at 6), Pitts (same with him).

I know your stance on WR but I’d take Chase at #6. Realistically, him Wilson or Sewell. If those three guys are gone they should do all they can to trade out.

Where does that leave them now?

All about the medical, but I could see Siri/Steichen being intrigued as to moving him around the formation to get the matchups they both seem to emphasize.

Getting Waddle or Chase in a trade-down would be fantastic.

Good for us.  We have no talent.  Talent shifts can’t hurt, even if we are over the cap.

The Jets could have $80M in cap space or more by the time free agency begins. They have 5 first round picks over the next 3 drafts, tied with the Lions for the most. Any player available - be it free agency or a trade - the Jets have the resources to try and acquire him.

Immediate pass for Rudolph.

That preseason game against the Packers he was dropping dimes.  I don't doubt the talent was there...just never put it all together.

It's no secret that I want Kyle Pitts...however, if the reports are true that we can expect lots of A gap blitzes, Micah Parsons EXCELS in just that.  I don't want him at 6 but maybe if you trade down.  I'm still not comfortable with guys that skipped a year but just watching his highlights again and he's an exciting dominant LB.  Much like Zaven Collins.

LOL.  Getting hot in a preseason game doesn’t equal "arm talent” Rudolph was referring to.  And yeah, ok. Minny would have won the SB with Bradford.  Please

Oh I agree but I remember watching that game and he was putting the ball wherever he wanted.  It was exciting for a minute.

there was nick foles in the super bowl, and Sam Bradford's first eagles pre-season game. The top 2 best games all time by an eagles QB. This may sound sarcastic, but yes, Bradford was amazing that game. The offense looked incredible and every one of his throws was perfect leading WRs in to open space. Its a shame it only ever lasted that 1 pre-season game.

It's not sarcastic at all.  Bradford put the ball wherever he wanted that game.  It was ridiculous.  Looking back, I thought he completed more than 10 passes.  Still a clinic though.

2 thoughts.  If they kept Shady instead of trading him and signing Murray, that offense is totally different.  What a disaster he was.  Second thought.  It's really easy to forget just HOW GOOD Sproles was before the injuries got to him.  Man what a weapon he was.

thats who Cowherd has us taking in his mock draft

They only lost by 31 points.  Bradford at times looked like a good starter, but I don’t think he’s even as good as Kirk Cousins

I still think the Eagles beat the Vikings but it is interesting to think how good Bradford would have been that season if he stayed healthy.  He looked incredible in that week 1 opening MNF game before he got injured.  Slinging some incredible passes.

Yeah.  In a preseason game.

I know but still against the 1s.  I'm just saying for that brief minute you could see the potential.  FWIW, I hated Sammy Sleeves but I'll pat my own back, I did call that trade on the old EMB months before it happened.

When someone says "arm talent” when talking about an NFL QB.  I’m thinking of Aaron Rodgers, John Elway, Pat Mahomes.  Hell.  Jeff George had arm talent.   I’m not looking at Sam Bradford and seeing "arm talent”.

He was a great QB prospect.

Anyone want a LeGarrette Blount clone in round 5-6?

Whenever Chip traded for Bradford I forgot he was even in the league he was hurt that much. I think his ceiling was Chad Pennington. Dude was made of glass
