I know but still against the 1s.  I'm just saying for that brief minute you could see the potential.  FWIW, I hated Sammy Sleeves but I'll pat my own back, I did call that trade on the old EMB months before it happened.

I absolutely loved him in the draft.  Hated the trade, but held out hope he could still live up to the promise since he became ours.

In the draft, I thought he was the closest any prospect came to Peyton Manning.  He was just such an incredible, fluid, intuitive passer.

Once his agent started talking about his amazing pro day to hype him up after he had been in the nfl for 3 years, that’s when I knew he was a bust.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Yo, let me call you back in 20 minutes.

Bro what is your deal? You are just flooding the place with total nonsense.

Bradford had a lot of talent. Former #1 pick. His issues were always health and not throwing the ball down the field. When the bullets were live, all he wanted to do was check it down.

For those on the Trey Lance bandwagon, I think it does say something that their first game without Wentz, Easton Stick or Trey Lance, ND State got trounced and had their 39 game win streak come to an end last weekend.  Weird to talk about spring college football but there's a lot being played soon.  UD starts this weekend.  Lance has the tools I just have no idea what he is.

One more thing, geez I need to get off the computer.  A name to keep an eye on for the Eagles...Anthony Barr.

John McMullen with another moronic tweet, shocker. Sam Bradford was a horrible NFL QB. If all it took was ''arm talent'' Jeff George would have been the goat.

Carter Hart look like Eagles offense last season.

Neither of the last 2 goals were anywhere close to his fault.

Flyers in the second period looking like the eagles from last year.

The last one was a off a bad rebound he shouldn’t have gave up.

Really?!!??    Thanks.

He didn’t have great "arm talent” for NFL standards.

maybe if arm talent is only synonymous with arm strength. But, then people would just say arm strength.

Claude Giroux and Ben Simmons.  What do they have in common?

In fairness Ben Simmons averaged 21-8-8 and shot 70% from the line in February. Giroux hasn’t scored a goal since January 28th

Yeah, he could've been better there. His D in front of him weren't helping though.

Bradford must be the most frustrating QB I've watched wearing an Eagles jersey. I think I had more fun with Kolb, Detmer or even Sanchez than him.

Their defense has been an issue this year and in the bubble last year. They really need to make an upgrade. Niskanen wasn’t good in the bubble but prior to that he was it’s a big reason why they got hot for that stretch before the stoppage.

Giroux is a overrated superstar. Guy just disappears for long stretches

Yep. Bad overall effort tonight. Plus this power play is unbelievably weak. I can’t remember the last time the flyers had a good power play

Nope.  That’s not it.

They both would be fine with passing up a wide open shot to make a dumb pass.   I am so f-ing tired of Giroux and this GD team that just takes periods off every game.

Honestly that’s been the flyers for like the last 8 to 9 years. They don’t play 60 minutes every game. I’m not expecting them to play well all 60 minutes for every game  But this date back all the way to 2012 where they would play great for a period and then take two periods off or play play lackadaisical for two periods and then come on like gangbusters. That has been their style for years. It’s not the coaching anymore. This is happening now with four different coaches. It’s not the coaching

It always baffled me why Bradford lasted as long as he did. Apparently he interviews great and is a really smart guy when it comes to X's and O's. Unfortunately, that's where it ends.

ever since pronger left and retired this is has their downfall. pronger was a great leader and proven leader which this team has been lacking since his injury.

The end of western civilization is nigh.  The haplessly woke are trying to ruin science and math education. Consider the following from a pamphlet supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation regarding the teaching of math:

The recommendations proposed in this pamphlet are starting to be adopted by school boards throughout the country.

I don’t think he’s a superstar tbh. He’s was a really good player. I’d say a star but he was never Crosby, ovechkin, Kane in their primes in his prime type of guy. Flyers fans never want to admit that but he’s was never close to that type of talent. Frankly most aren’t.

also I like provorov but i don’t think he’s close to being a no. 1 stud defenseman like pronger, Duncan Keith, doughty, pietrangelo, hedberg and guys of those ilk. He still young so maybe he gets there in time but if you want to win a Stanley Cup you need one of those defenseman. Go look at the last decade of champions besides the penguins who had letang but had the best player in the game in Crosby to make up for it had one.

Dude, quit cluttering the blog with nonsense.

There is a feature built into the board that helps with that.

Make Coots the Captain!!!!  Set the tone that someone who does all the little things and makes the right plays gets awarded with the C.  Not a guy who has been stealing money and passing up open shots for a long long time.

Coots is their best player. He deserves to be it cause whenever he’s out there he is always a force. I know Carter went on to win multiple cups with the kings but getting voracek and the pick to draft coots is a phenomenal return.

We'll always have one of the best shifts I've ever seen.
