First of all, it wasn't me that you quoted. Second, I have seen absolutely zero posters that don't think at least a portion belongs with Wentz. Equal I would argue with you on but nobody thinks that he played well this year and I would also argue with you that Wentz is a baby.

I don't know where they're seeing it. Would love for one of them to quote posts

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The QBs regressed or didn’t improve.  The passing game was abysmal.  Commonality? Press Taylor, the Passing Game Coordinator/QB coach.  Why are we five days removed from the end of the season and he is still employed here?  In addition to hiring an OC and DC, they need to hire a new QB coach.

He found "Philly Philly".  He's a genius!

Its in their own minds... they are so blinded by their own hatred for him, if you don't say it all the time, then you are absolving him of everything.

And please point out all the posters that think nothing is Wentz' fault. It doesn't need to be said time and time again does it? Ruining of Wentz from the organizations end is that they never give him good players around him, not since 2017 anyways. So can someone say that without having to ad that Wentz didn't play well?

No need to drag it out further. We can just agree to disagree. My position is that Wentz had as much or more to do with his decline than the organization and that organizational negligence had more to do with coaching than the surrounding cast. Enough said.

Is it April fools?  WTF is going on with the Eagles?

What non athletic stiffs?  Are you talking about JJAW, Hightower and Reagor and their three cones and short shuttles?  We mentioned that earlier this year.  But they had the straight line speed you covet.

JJAW has the straight line speed I covet?

Press Taylor gets my vote for OC.  They are already going to suck.  Let's make their decisions as laughable as possible.

So we should expect another open tryouts?

But let's do it with a twist...open tryouts to call the plays.  Winner of a madden tournament gets to call the plays until the bye next year.

Shocking news!!! Zero Eagles were named All pro.

In other shocking news Howie isn't in the running for GM of the year and water is wet...

How hard can it be?, he can just steal college plays every week use those plays and voila, Superbowlzzzz!

seriously, what does he see in press taylor? there's probably a ton a vet qb coaches that are better than this guy, actually we need vet coaches in the whole staff especially if this team is going full rebuild, you need vet coaches so the young players and for wentz and hurts can develop, if not we are in trouble.

I thought the secret to play calling and offensive scheme was as many 5 yard routes and targets on 3rd and long as possible.

Its pretty clear if that happens that Doug is getting his say that he wants for running the offense. However if it fails hes done and has zero excuses to fall back on.

Consider the source.  He's off the rails anymore.

I called it a week ago.  It's Duce as the OC and who f-cking knows as the DC.  Burke most likely.

That wouldn't be good either

I think to some degree it's something they know.  Wentz played better when McCown had his ear last year.  They wanted to bring in Orlovsky I think because they thought he would be able to get more out of Wentz.  When that didn't happen, they brought back McCown.  I think they know Taylor isn't enough.  I think Taylor likely has a good relationship with Doug and Wentz but it's just apparent he can't fix problems with this offense.  He can't fix repeated problems with the QB.  I mean fumbles were an issue for both of them.  We know it was not effectively addressed, we have no idea why it wasn't but the blame falls on Taylor.  He has got to go.

On this one, I can't say I disagree though. What reputable OC would come here with Doug calling plays? They tried this last year, and it's how we ended up with an OC by committee approach. If Doug and Howie are back, this team is doomed to failure in 2021 anyway, so at this point, we may as well make Taylor the "OC". It just sucks we need to make at least one more trip around the sun before anything happens that gives us reason to get excited.

I think he could be in the mix but Sal Pal is doing his usual shtick with the "beyond shocked” bit.
