I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Well that’s nonsensical on several levels.

No GMs plan is to go 60 million over the cap , and field a team seriously lacking talent .

Well, no. But neither was Howie's. Some of that money couldnt be planned for with a COVID cap decrease.

However, he could have went a little nuts trying to run it back with most of the super bowl roster knowing he would only very temporarily be in trouble. Press the reset button this year, and be sitting pretty soon.

Teams with a lot of cap room right now might actually find themselves in a slight predicament later on. Maybe their position isnt quite as enviable as it seems?

so how much better were Keenan McCardell and Miles Austin than Antonio Brown?

I feel like maybe Elijah Moore belongs at #1 on the list.

Greg Ward reminds me of Joey Galloway

Adding up Top 51 we are at $196,861,056

Dead money: $40,011,197

$233,872,253

Carry over estimate: $24,500,000

$209,372,253

NFL cap space: $182,500,000

So currently we are over $26,872,253

Cox, Graham, and Barnett will actually get us there with restructures and extensions. Jeffery and Jackson save 4M, Ertz will save 4,952,000. If Johnson, Brooks, and Goodwin rumors are true add another 10,500,000 roughly. Adjust 1,560,000 for top 51.

This will give us about 18,000,000 in cap space.

Set aside some for signing draft picks. Isn’t much but won't be a full 18 mil

I guess we pick Moore at 6.

Shout out to the most underrated player on the Eagles.

If Howie was wise he'd lock him up on an ultra cheap long term deal.

Correct, but I have a feeling we will be active in Free Agency. I bet we see some back loaded contracts and 1 year prove it deals.

Yeah, I wish our whole offense could just double down on guys that approach NFL records in per reception futility for the position.

Yeah such a terrible thing to have low coat reliable talent. He's 25 years old and I've never seen him drop a pass.  Extremely reliable possession receiver who has a little wuic shake to him after the catch.

But yeah, you're right.  He doesn't fit in with what the Eagles like at WR.  Low cost and catches the ball.  We need more over priced guys that can't catch.

He has absolutely zero shake to him after the catch. He might be the worst receiver in the NFL after the catch.

Well if he goes to the Steelers he can buy his jersey

He was a Pittsburgh Panther, he already has it

Did they just pick names out of a hat for these comps?

That's just false.

Kicking Ward up on a 3 year deal for 2m a year would be a great signing.

I think you have to be drunk and then take a hit of lsd

He’s an EFRA so they can’t extend him right now anyway

I get it. But I also hate kicking the cam down the road with the extensions. I’d rather bite the bullet and come out with loads of space in 22/23

Quick shake to him?  I feel bad for all of us that it's been so long since we've seen a weapon in green that one could possibly say that Greg Ward has shake to him.  The only shake he has is when Doug would take the team out for ice cream.

We are gonna have a ton of space in 22/23. With the new tv deal and coming out of the pandemic the salary cap will jump to at least 220M. This is a one year problem even with kicking the can. Not having Wentz and having Hurts on a rookie 2nd round contract is huge.

Let's just make it an even 4 years for $20m total to seal the deal.  Who doesn't want to move their passing offense forward 7.9 yards at a time?  If we lose Ward, we might have to find a blocking TE or a fullback to replace his big play presence in the passing game.

Seriously, he’s made like two more players miss in the NFL than I have.

The Eagles have the least cap space in the NFL projected for those years...
