Pretty annoying Eagles only make Sirianni available to media one time for 30 mins while all the others teams even let the coordinators and position coaches speak, more than once. Even the Texans let Culley do two PC’s.

Maybe Pelosi is pulling the strings at the NovaCare Complex too.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Sirianni wants to get the ball into our playmakers’ hands within 5 yards of the LOS. Ward is a perfect fit.

I wouldn't call Ward a " playmaker'

There is an interview with Clay on the Eagles YouTube channel that I have listened too and I believe Gannon too.  But you have to put up with Spadaro.

The quality of the Clay interview isn't the greatest, but it is interesting to listen too though.

Wonder how many frequent flyer miles  I got?

He catches a high percentage of passes against soft coverage. That doesn’t do it for you? Hand-wringer!

That's my issue. Let them get some unscripted questions.

I'd prefer a more freeform interview, but at least there was something more enlightening than a short puff piece on their website.

Top 40 pick , wouldn’t be shocked if he sneaks into rd 1

EDGE Joseph Ossai 6036, 256 lbs, 33 7/8" arms 41.5" vert 10'11" broad 19 reps

Ossais 41.5 is one of the best marks by a defensive end in the last three decades, Would tie for top 4. That's impressive. His 1011 broad would be 6th all time for a DE. The combination of those two is some insane explosiveness

Doesn’t measure bend though and that is so important in a DE. I thought he looked better at LB.  I am thinking a 3/4 OLB suits him better. Just like Toohill, last year, I think he is a bit of a liability against the run.  Now, I will admit a bit of a bias against Texas and something about burnt orange hurts the eyes.

I felt like I raped Dallas but I only got a b+ for that one.

Not very good.  Seeing how goofy this program is on trades, I got all of Denver’s 2021 draft choices, their 1,2,3 I’m 2022 and 223 and their 4 in 2022.   I got all of that from the 49ers but their fourth in 2022.  Grabbed their fourth in 2023 instead.  Occasionally grabbed two additional 4s in each year, 4 additional 5s in each year,  5 sixths and five sevenths each year and still walked away with Farley and Davis as my first two picks. Obviously, on the strength of our PFF drafts, Lurie should just fire Howie and hire us.  Cannot get more real than PFF’s mock draft.

I know they are for fun. But Id stick with only 1 trade back in the first. The chances we trade back 2 or 3 just wont happen so for the realistic of it, Id stick with 1.

You're right. That's an awful miss by him. Shady's best performance an Eagle!

Nick Foles first INT of the year. I remember that game well. No one in the stands sat down all game. Talk about pins and needles in my feet walking back to the car after the game.

I may be Ward’s biggest fan and I like the hands comparison to Avant but Avant was a great route runner and had really good body control.  He was also a few inches taller than Ward.   I suspect Ward will continue to improve on route running and body control but he isn’t Jason yet and may never be. If only Jason had speed.

...., and that’s why he’s highly thought of by fans, not beloved like Dawkins, or even Foles, but generally appreciated because fans understand he got the most out of what he was given, talent wise. Even he admits that Celek was the only dude he could beat in a race.
Now with his and Q’s weekly podcast we get the stories that we would of never heard about, usually self depreciating, which makes them funny.

The Clay interview was pretty good. I didn’t listen to Gannon’s.

Twyman is an interesting prospect.  Smaller sized DT.  Got 10.5 sacks in 2019 from the DT spot.  Sat out 2020

I'd be happy to take a chance on someone like that in the 4th-5th.  This draft seems to be thin at OG after the 4th and bone dry at DT.

Lol I remember screaming why they made him throw. It was pretty cool but every throw I was on the end of my couch that year

Pretty much.  This is going to be painful to deal with.

There are a combined 18 comp picks in the third and fourth rounds. The wait between our last third round pick and our next pick in round 5 is gonna be boring as hell.

Because he didn't play that well in the games he played in?

Completed 45.9 % of his passes in the second half, while leading the Eagles to points on 2 of 22 possesions.

I'm confident they will find a way in to the 4th round.  The best case is an Ertz trade but what will probably happen is that Howie looks at having a 2nd 3rd round pick as extra and he trades out of the 3rd for a 4th and a 6th or some crap like that.

Not sure how you can say he didn't play well in the Saints and Cardinals game.

But hey, some people here just seem to have unrealistically high standards for rookie QBs, or at least for Hurts as a rookie but not for Eagles rookie QBs of the past.
