However I will say that was a Doug move to go for 2. Kinda of dumb by Frank there.

Its unfortunate that coaches today just want to go with stats and analytics instead of making decisions on feel of how the game is going.  It's not just the NFL too.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Pretty big third down here. If the colts don’t give up any yards i wonder if the bills punt, kick a fg or go for it considering field position

Rivers' has not been the problem for the Colts today.
Honestly, it'll take a Rivers retirement.

True he hasn’t been the problem but he also hasn’t been the solution. Gotta have better QB play in the playoffs.

I actually don’t mind the 2pt call.  Does it put them in a bad spot now?  Of course.

But the odds were already stacked against them to win the game.  You’ve got one of the hottest and strongest RBs in the league...the odds are in your favor at the 1.

If you get it...that puts a lot of pressure on the BIlls in their next possession.  Maybe they come out tight and stunned knowing you are playing for the lead if they don’t score.

The benefit of the momentum swing justifies the risk there, IMO.

Agreed.

Absolutely. Hurts is also a rookie. Why can't he improve his arm strength (like most QBs do in the pros)?

He will never get his arm strength to match the way those guys throw the ball.

Trey Burton...Mr. 3rd Down today

Wow that was fast.

colts tight end factory of cox, Doyle and burton killing the bills 12 receptions 121 yards and a touchdown and two point conversion.

The Bills defense has given up back to back quick TD drives. Just no situational awareness. Big runs allowed + blitzing a QB with a quick release.

Offense, offense, offense.

First offense to blink loses.  McDermott is just along for the ride.

Frank reich knows all about comebacks in that stadium....

And... they didn't abandon the running game... and MORE importantly, they didn't dink and dunk 3 yards at a time.

BTW... get used to the 2 point conversions by teams scoring a TD with a 14 point deficit.  That's not going anywhere.   It is 'different', but the thought process behind it is sound... especially if you are an over 50% 2 point conversion converting team.   The odds of not getting either one of the 2 points is very low... and if you get the first one, you are in a very strong position down 6 versus down 7.   Being down 8 versus 7 if you miss isn't a terrible position.

It would turn heads, but if I owned the Bills, I’d promote Daboll to HC.

Yeah... this is the new NFL.  This is what the NFL wanted... this is what they set their rules to make happen.   And now its happening.    The old adage of 'defense wins championships' just doesn't hold true like it used to.   Now, offenses win championships with an average defense.

Buffalo snapping the ball with 10 seconds left in the play clock. WHY!

That corner shouldn’t have jumped on that blitz. Just keep Allen contained

That missed FG and 4th down turnover on downs gonna haunt the Colts

Indy only 1 timeout left

Because if you are predictable the defense will figure it out and jump at the right time. Also to catch the defense not set fully thinking they have more time to get set.

Hero Ball

That was Wentz-esque

Wow 2nd down and 33...what play do you draw up for that?

That's a spot where, with the lead, you have to be smarter and just go down by Josh Allen.   Losing that yardage is horrible.  If they'd lost the ball, that would have been disastrous.   just go down, take the 10 yard loss... instead, he lost 13 more yards and converting is almost impossible, and he could have lost the ball.

It was 1st and 10 from the Indy 34 with 3:50 left. Run. The. Ball.

Now, they THROW on 2nd down? WTH.
