Oh so the reason "you're" going to suck this year is you have no money.

Wrong again Simba.

Who said anything about sucking  , other than you ?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

And you just know as soon as Howie gets some cap room, he's gonna bust right through that band and we're gonna be a bloated mess all over again.

There are dozens of fair criticisms of Roseman but I don't think this is one.  He's been in charge of our cap for years and we've really never had an issue.  It's not like the way he runs the cap has us constantly in turmoil.  This is basically the first time in what 15 years of running the cap that we're in this situation?

Eagles don’t win the Super Bowl without Alshon. Show some respect you asshats

No, the past is the past. We are in a situation now where he keeps kicking the can down the road. It's an absolutely fair criticism that we have no cap space, and arguably a huge lack of talent. It would be much easier to swallow if we had some studs, but we just don't. We have a lot of unknowns.

Yes, we're in for a long season coming up, lots of bad losses and not much talent on the team. We should all understand that right now.

if WFT can get the OL playing well, they win the division pretty easily

If Howie's plan is to direct future cap room to 2023, rather than 2022, I like that plan.  Part of the reason is the projected big jump in salary cap in 2022. When the NBA's salary cap took a massive jump in the offseason of 2016, the contracts handed out in free agency were astronomical. 2017 free agency deals were much better for teams.

He kicked the can down the road as little as possible but enough to be cap compliant this year.  Trading Wentz by itself is a huge salary cap reset.  Yes, it will take this year and next to clear the books but there's no basis to think that this year's offseason is the new normal.  We can very easily have over $100 million in cap space in 2023.

Seriously, who cares?  We are not going to be good next year.  Having Anthony Walker doesn't change that fact.  You seem obsessed with every free agent as if there's a free agent out there that will alter the course of the rebuild.

Looking through the clearance section and here are some players I’d like to add.

Safety — Malik Hooker (if we’re going to play single high), Xavier Woods (if we’re going to play two-high)

CB — Garson Conley and Kevin King (both are man only schemes), Rasul Douglas (cover 2 zone), Troy Hill (slot)

RB — Wayne Gallman (he’s a JAG but can play both in short yardage and in the passing game), Duke Johnson (if we want a player for the Nyheim Hines role).

TE (if Ertz is moved) — Tyler Kroft, James O’Shaunessy (both can block).

LB — Eric Wilson (our LB coach knows him well and has experience in a Zimmer defense), DeVondre Campbell (long-armed OLB fits in a Barr role and has the wingspan that the Colts liked)

WR — Dede Westbrook (vertical slot, coming off injury), David Moore (always passes the eyeball test)

Here we go.

Conley for me if it's reasonable. There's potential for growth. His presence doesn't stop us from taking CBs early.

Over/Under first question from the media is about Wentz?

As it should be.  I hope they hammer Howie on questions about him. As for Sirianni I just hope he can give some competent answers on any of the questions that come his way.

And there's still free agency and they have a whole juicy draft which they have gotten right a hell of a lot more than us. They officially pulled ahead of us pretty easily now and we always had problems with them anyway.

What have you and Reich spoken about so far or some iteration of that.

Now this is a 3rd down RB I can get behind.

The HC and GM are meeting the media?  Let me get my stock outrage phrases ready.

And hope they don't call on on Bo Wulf, as it seems to annoy him so much that they don't.

I have no idea why the Broncos didn’t tender him at a second round level. Baffling.

Who cares? So you're happy with having a complete and total landfill fire of a team I guess. We are one of the worst teams in the league at this point and doing jack crap in FA. How about getting some younger free agents that fit Siri and Gannon's mold? Guess I'm just a fool and we're supposed to be fine with falling deeper and deeper into the abyss and tumbling closer and closer to absolute worst team in the league. The point of the offseason is to get better, not worse. And with the way this team drafts we are Fed, totally.

Nah, we have Scott and Kilins

Patrick Chung has announced his retirement.

That settles it.  I knew I didn't like those guys.  How can you like someone, who picks 12 noon on the first day of March Madness as the time to come out and do damage control with the media?

For some reason it's only the play-in games today. Tournament proper starts tomorrow.
