Who cares? So you're happy with having a complete and total landfill fire of a team I guess. We are one of the worst teams in the league at this point and doing jack crap in FA. How about getting some younger free agents that fit Siri and Gannon's mold? Guess I'm just a fool and we're supposed to be fine with falling deeper and deeper into the abyss and tumbling closer and closer to absolute worst team in the league. The point of the offseason is to get better, not worse. And with the way this team drafts we are Fed, totally.

Nah, we have Scott and Kilins

Bro, are you new? We've discussed ad nauseum in here that 2021 is going to be a very bad season. Like, top 3 worst teams bad season. This has been realized since at least December. Have you not paid any attention? We have no money to bring in guys, the owner clearly stated we are in a rebuild. This is not going to be a competitive team next year. The sooner you accept that, the happier you'll be.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Yes, I'm more than fine with it.  This is a 4-6 win team.  I accept that and appreciate that its actually probably best for the long term health of the franchise.  You are losing your proverbial mind over missing out on guys who would improve us to a - checks notes - 4-6 win team.  Like you're going to feel that much better if this team is only the 10th worst team in the NFL instead of the 5th worst team even though it makes building an actual winner that much harder?

Patrick Chung has announced his retirement.

scrub... gotta give him credit for carving out 11 years

I was thinking earlier if there is potential for the Ertz trade to be a return as comp + player, rather than straight out comp.

And I see Beau Allen is FA now too.

I just saw that.  I was going to see what time UNC plays so I can go to B Dubs tomorrow evening.  Man.....I don't like this.  F-ing weird.  2nd round goes into Monday?!

That sucks.  I was hoping to work in front of the tv today.

Bigly.

Looking through the clearance section and here are some players I’d like to add.

Safety — Malik Hooker (if we’re going to play single high), Xavier Woods (if we’re going to play two-high)

CB — Garson Conley and Kevin King (both are man only schemes), Rasul Douglas (cover 2 zone), Troy Hill (slot)

RB — Wayne Gallman (he’s a JAG but can play both in short yardage and in the passing game), Duke Johnson (if we want a player for the Nyheim Hines role).

TE (if Ertz is moved) — Tyler Kroft, James O’Shaunessy (both can block).

LB — Eric Wilson (our LB coach knows him well and has experience in a Zimmer defense), DeVondre Campbell (long-armed OLB fits in a Barr role and has the wingspan that the Colts liked)

WR — Dede Westbrook (vertical slot, coming off injury), David Moore (always passes the eyeball test)

O’Shaunessy signed yesterday with the Jags

Yep he has three rings too. Good on him. Now we know why they signed Mills.

I'm guessing this is the Rudy Ford replacement. Looks like he has primarily been a special teams player since his 2nd year.  He did have 4 interceptions in 2018 though.

I was hoping we were abandoning the goal of devoting half the roster to special teams "aces"

It’s important to keep the ST well stocked in a rebuild.

I feel like I'm pretty in tune with most players around the league.  I'll admit, I've never heard of this guy.  ST player most likely.  I'd rather see them sign younger guys who still have a chance at developing but whatever this is what we're going to get.

Now this is a 3rd down RB I can get behind.

His size says he isn't but he is a between the tackle back

Most yards per carry on inside attempts since 2016 (goal-line carries excluded):

1. Aaron Jones (5.6)

2. Alvin Kamara (5.4)

3. Christian McCaffrey (5.2)

4. Mark Ingram (5.1)

T5. Phillip Lindsay (5.0)

T5. Nick Chubb (5.0)

Yeah I'll admit to never having heard of him either.  Honestly, don't see any point to this signing but whatever.

He’d be a pretty good backup, tbh. And it wouldn’t cost a second round pick.

Oh so the reason "you're" going to suck this year is you have no money.

Wrong again Simba.

I think Beast's post is reasonable and yours is not.

Just imagine how uninspiring a Hurts/Minshew QB combo would be; if he didn’t have a moustache he wouldn’t even be in the league

9-0? Can that be right? 🤯

He would be fun to bring in for sure but would be an ultimate disaster for the team.  He's got this Nick Foles + Jeff Garcia game about him that fans would fall for in a heartbeat.  If Hurts struggled or got hurt and Minshew came in and did his thing, a lot of people would latch on to him, thus creating another QB issue.

If they truly feel Hurts is the guy, I would much rather bring in a veteran who knows his role as the back up and can help teach Hurts as he grows.  Minshew would come in wanting the starting position.  Competition is great but I just don't feel like going through more QB controversies.  Pick a QB and build around him.

I would think it's still zoom.

Bring Beau home.

I’d be more interested in Lee on the cheap.
