We don't have the resources needed to get him, but the laughs would be epic after all the Hurts hand wringing if the Eagles pulled it off somehow.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I really don't get the hand wringing in here. We knew this was going to be a tight budget year. That ship has sailed. The goals needed to be shed contracts, get younger, accumulate draft picks, figure out if Hurts is the guy. Howie got us into this mess but panicking isn't the way to get out of it.

Yeah it would've been nice to grab one of the top young good FAs but we knew that wasn't in the cards with the cap. Realistically the best we could hope for is targeting some mid level guys whose markets go cold after the first round of signings. This is pretty much what we all should have expected.

Crazy stuff

BREAKING: The 3rd of 6 lawsuits has been filed against Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson has been posted on the Harris County site. The third event allegedly states that Watson hired a massage therapist in December 2020, and had her perform oral sex on him.

Must of got a tip from Robert Craft...😒

The hand wringing is because it’s actually happening.  Of course this is what needed to happen, but it’s miserable that it got to this point.  So people are just crying out in agony.

With 3 sex assault lawsuits filed and 3 more on the way Watson isn't going anywhere soon.  Teams would be nuts to give up picks and players until the know where these lawsuits are heading

Agony is the nice way to put it.  More like whiney b!t&h#$.

Joe Giglio is the worst.

Fair enough. It's painful but it's the best thing to do right now. IMO the worst possible scenario would have been to bring in a bunch of older vet FAs ala the Patriots. So I'll take it.

One thing that is a little extra tough about this offseason...and I don’t like to say that any fans are spoiled, but in this respect, we have been over the last 20 years...Eagles fans are not used to going into a season with no hope of competing AND no new franchise player.  Sort of a Jets/Lions/old school Bills king of season.

When Ray Rhodes was fired, they had Mcnabb.  When Chip was fired, they got Wentz.  1999 and 2016 weren’t supposed to be competitive seasons, but there was excitement about watching those new guys.

The #6 pick this year just isn’t going to be a franchise changing player...and we have no answers at qb.  So it’s a uniquely bleak season that Eagles fans have not endured in a very long time.

This is true.  I dunno what’s going on with the Patriots.

The reality of it sucks and seeing it play out is somehow worse, even though we knew it was coming.  What really makes it bad is seeing Washington and NYG bringing in solid players.  It used to be we'd laugh at ridiculous signings but now it seems the other NFCE teams are just bringing in players that make sense and help improve their teams.  Then you add to the fact that the one player who made sense to bring back in Jalen Mills (haters will hate I think he was OK at safety) left within the first few hours of tampering.

We have NO secondary and every the NFCE is becoming loaded with WR talent.  It's going to be UGLY.

29 minutes ago news broke that deshaun is being sued by a 3rd women for sexual assault.

So maybe one may want to re think the above stance😉

ESP vs giglio in a steel cage match would be fun for everyone.

Our line (if healthy) and our two running backs in Sanders and Hurts may steal us some games, otherwise I would think we could flirt with being winless. Honestly can't see us winning more than 2/3 games.

I think we know they’re headed for an out of court settlement

1998 maybe the last time?

Wonder if these "allegations" against Watson were created by the Texans owner to keep teams away from him.

I am sure there is something there, probably not as bad as reported.  Lawyer involved is an epic ambulance chaser, and apparently there is some type of relationship between him and Cal McNair, the Texans owner.

I've taken every Friday for the tourny since 2005ish. Same group of 10-15 guys. Usually the same 2 places(start in philly) come to SJ to be closer to home. Doing it again this Friday

Must be kind of boring for you with Pitt only being in the tourney 3 times in that span.

Decent player but always hurt. Woulda went somewhere else but oh well

Ridgeway doesn't move the needle much for me. He hasn't been able to stay healthy the past two years and the Eagles have ended up having DT depth issues. Hopefully we still address the position through the draft in some capacity.

I'm fine with this.  Just another meh move that is going to be the most boring offseason ever.

Ok, do the math for me.  How are we opening the space to sign Samuel?

I don't have time to do math right now. I'm sure our accounts could have figured it out since its what they do

Thats sad that you googled something for a lame, terrible joke.

I cheer for local teams and anyone playing duke.

Oh c'mon man, at least I put some effort in instead of going back to the same lame Steelers joke like others.

My main issue is Howie is just going back to what he knows and what has already failed. They bounced Adrian Killins on and off the roster all year and didn't even sign him to a futures deal but then give him a two year deal. Same with Ridgeway. He plays ok as a 3/4 DT but two years in a row he gets a season ending injury without even playing half the season, but he's a guy they sign with limited resources. You did a complete tear down with the coaching staff, lets bring in some new blood.
