Can we get a press conference from Jeff now?  This press conference today just made me feel worse about the future of this team.

Is a PC from Jeff going to make you feel better? At this point, forget the PC's. I just want to see how the off-season plays out and then what progress if any we make next season with the rebuilt roster and coaching staff.

I really just want to hear reporters press him on Howie more and see if after that Wentz trade if he still refuses to say anything about Howie that isn't overflowing with praise.

Once afan comes to grip with the fact that Howie is at the top of the list of the problems with this franchise, maybe people will cut him some slack.  Until then, he is inviting this on himself with the mental gymnastics he does every day to paint Howie as a great GM.

Don't disagree with the benching, but I'm thinking it's "Hey I helped the team win their first SB and have done nothing but break franchise records with slop all around me, but now I'm getting pulled for a garbage ass running back playing QB because they aren't willing to give me a "bad" season and let me work through it"

Right or wrong, I'm guessing that's the thought process.

And they get reinserted to the starting lineup the next day at practice, not go extended weeks as the backup. They usually have the coach reiterate a commitment to them, not "He's my starting QB today".
