No, it's not too big of a leap.  What we have learned this offseason, that Lurie has been heavily involved and in fact has been behind most of the Eagles personnel moves, is beyond disturbing, and unfortunately explains a lot.

I am absolutely of the mindset that until he sells, or has enough of an epiphany to realize what he has done and make a change, the franchise will remain in poor shape.

It seems like many people are still focused on Roseman in terms of thinking he is a decision maker.  He isn't.  We know that now.  He is the face of Lurie's meddling, and Lurie's gopher/personal liaison to the rest of the league.  Listening to his pressers can give you an insight into the collective group-think, but make no mistake, the main driver of that is Lurie.

Apparently, it's going to take more embarrassment than the Wentz situation at face value for Lurie to change.  If Carson bombs in Indy, but plays, the Eagles get a higher draft pick, which is good.  However, it might be better for the team in the long run if Carson plays really well and has a good rest of his career.  Lurie and his lackey will try to lay that off on "coaching," but it won't work.  The level of embarrassment will be there.

Until Lurie sells the team, or steps back and empowers a real GM, the future does not look bright.

What's going to end up happening is Lurie putting Howie in his will to take over as owner.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

This press conference today was brutal. I wanna give this coach a chance and all but yeeeesh.

Besides the fans being the biggest loser would be Jeff’s son Julian and his daughter milena

Wouldn't be the first time a NFL owner screwed his kids over in their will.

That said, if his kids are part of the succession plan I wonder when they start becoming more visible members of the organization. Jerry Jone's kid has been very involved for some time now.

Why does sirianni look like he’s aged 10 years since we last saw him and look to be hungover

I think the Howie take away was the worst part of it. No accountability. No insight or visions that anything will be any different. No promises or vows to do better. Just a whole lot of nothing.

Yeah but I already knew Howie was a crappy GM. I was holding out some foolish hope that they had found this diamond in the rough for a head coach that might have all these brilliant schemes. This guy comes off as just another assistant in waaaaay over his head.

The best case for real change is for everyone to get the vaccine and covid is stamped out or controlled.  That way, when there is a half empty stadium because the fans are indifferent, Lurie will see that it isn't because of a pandemic.  It's because they lost the fan base/city.  Same can be said about merch sales.  Hit him where it hurts.

It's hard to take you seriously with this stuff.  The Eagles stadium isn't going to be half empty because they have a couple down years.  There will still be a season ticket wait list.  This is WIP/child's thinking you're displaying.

I know, I was just hoping to see someone maybe somewhat concerned about the turn the team took and his role going forward. Instead he looks cemented in for life.

Will Fuller to Miami.

Dolphins were never going to go WR at 3, so they needed to address it on free agency.

My sleepers in each bracket.

Happy Meal Region:  Zaxby's-  Some really good chicken fingers.  Really popular in the south.

Big Menu Region:   Culver's.  Wisconsin based.  Stellar ice cream options.  Really good fresh, inexpensive burgers (butter burgers)  Solid joint.  (I love WAWA in this bracket and think they are seriously underrated, but I'm biased)

No Sunday's Region:  Texas Roadhouse. #2 seed.  Not really a sleeper.   Our daughter worked there when she was in high school.  Good for a chain.  Better than Ruby or Applebees.  Decent steaks.  And they work on Sunday.  Wrong region.  Rest of the bracket is pretty weak.

Welcome to Chili's Region:  Cookout.  What a deal.  Really good, homemade quality burgers.  Good shakes.  Drive up and either sit in the car or eat it on one of the 2 picnic tables they have.  Just better hope Dirty Mike and the Boys didn't have a soup kitchen on that table the night before.  Definitely a staple here in the south.

Baja Fresh was not seeded.  Maybe they have gone away.  Great tacos.

I wish we had zaxby’a out here. Feel like everyone always raves about them. We have canes. They are good not great

Feels like they are the perfect trade back candidate with a team that wants fields or Lance. I feel Carolina gets a deal done if they don’t trade for watson to get fields or Lance.

I kind of figured he’d do an alshon when he came here on a one year deal and look to cash in next offseason due to PED suspension and injury past. Sadly he picked tua to be his QB and i don’t see that being his best option besides probably the money unless he knows watson could be going there

Them or the Bears, Niners, Patriots move way up and offer a motherload of picks,

How tf do you have Outback at a #2 seed but Capital Grille a #4 in the same bracket????

Subway at #9 and White Castle at #16 are off too. And Red Lobster at #4 is terrible.
