Oral about to hurt my bracket. I knew I shouldn't have trusted a bum ass school like OSU

Up 6 with just under 2. Ohio state needed to just drive to the basket cause oral Roberts really had no answer to that all day. And they settled for jumpers

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

That’s pretty generous.  Doesn’t say much for the no I in team or leadership of this team.   I see a young man that could not fill Chris Long’s shoes.  The anti-Brandon Graham.  I really gave Wentz the benefit of the doubt.  I had some complaints about his lack of improvement in areas that can be fixed but did not doubt him as a person.  I excused him not talking with the media and thought that was his right but his vocalizing about his benching has made me look at things in a new light.   Maybe some of the criticism was warranted.  His seems to think he deserved to call plays.  He doesn’t equate his benching to how poor he was playing.  I always thought the Hurts drafting was because the Eagles think they need two starting level QBs and Wentz was a bit prone to injury, a back up capable of winning games was a must.  Now I wonder if it was a reaction to Carson not taking coaching, not throwing to the open receiver etc.  Basically, insurance against Carson failing. I hope he starts every game this season and his team regresses due to the coaching losses so the Eagles get a better draft choice.  I have no more loyalty to Wentz than I do to Mills, Ford or Johnston.  They moved on and so have I.

It's really hard for me to dissect Wentz at this point.  It's true he had deficiencies as a leader but I don't know if that isn't true of other good QBs.  Aside from Rodgers and Brady, I think a fair few are in a shared leadership role.  I mean Wilson comes to mind as not really coming out as a leader until after Sherman and Thomas were gone.  I think he clearly alienated some players on the offensive side in 2018 but that alienation corresponded to a team that was clearly not playing as well as it had in 2017.  In that situation, there are always going to be some level of complaint. In 2019,  Wentz seemed to almost single handedly lead the team to the playoffs despite a very poor supporting cast at receiver.  I don't think the personnel and Howie's inability to put talent around Carson can be ignored when evaluating him. Of course in 2020, he just fell off a cliff.

The team moving on from him was likely the right decision but I don't think Carson lacked the potential talent or ability to lead this team.  I think there was a question as to whether he could return to form in Philly.

Going for Wilson and ending up with Dalton, while cutting Fuller to replace him with Trufant. Pace is making Howie look good.

He will probably join Howie as the head of scouting next season when Weidl leaves.

2016 PAC-12 defensive player of the year.  That's Howie's wet dream right there.

ORAL ROBERTS!!! Doesn’t blow the job!

Howie special.

Difference there is that they have an aging QB and have one last hurrah.   Not the Eagles' situation at all over the past 3 years.

I think Judge did a nice job his first year , team is well coached , need a few more pieces and another year in the system .

Absolutely, everyone in the division pulling ahead while the Eagles are idle and sinking in quicksand and seem to be completely fine with it

I like Adoree Jackson a lot.  He’s the type of FA I’d want next year or the year after that.  Feels a little early in this process to add someone like him.  But he’s the type of guy I like to see them show interest in.

Maybe they feel like if they can actually stop someone on third and long, the offense can get more experience. Idk. As much as I don’t think this team is ready to win anything, our deep ball offense is the cause of immense frustration for me 😂

No we are taking one at 37 to be the backup. Cheap and good.

Not AFan.  Not me.  One can find excitement even in a rebuild.  Watching long time Eagles like Kelce, Johnson and Graham.   Enjoying the prospect of hopeful young players.  Enthused by a young coaching staff and what wrinkles they might bring to the schemes and what growth they can encourage from the players.  I enjoy wins but I really enjoy watching game plans and fundamentals too.  I really like whencoaches that can adjust and that is a huge question for Sirianni.  I thought the Colts failed at that in the playoffs.  Football is like chess when called well.

Obviously you are not average Philly fans. I would say most that post in here on a regular basis are above the knuckle dragging cry babies we see from time to time.

Tony Buzbee says he is now representing 12 women against Deshaun Watson and will file the remaining five cases. Beyond those 12, he said his firm has spoken to 10 additional women about Watson.

Is Hurts a bad back up?

We should have started the rebuild in 2019, Howie's a bum.

Howie isn't mortgaging the future to sign FAs who'll be past their prime when the team is competitive again, Howie's a bum.
