I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Really like Gowan.  More than Horn.

Johnson strikes me as more of a SS type, although he played FS. Not sure he has the speed to get to the sideline playing CF.  Seems best in support playing downhill.

Jamar could be a nice Swiss army piece; third safety or even slot. I do like Horn quite a bit though. If we don't stay at 6 for Pitts/Chase, trade back. Lots of intriguing options and this team needs a lot.

Jamar can be moved around has played both safety and corner , big fan of his

Outside of OL, it seems most positions are hit or miss. That’s just the nature of the draft.

But if a team sees a CB as potentially elite or close to it, that’s a valuable prospect. I wouldn’t pass on that in the top 10. I’m not sure there’s a corner in this draft who projects to be close to that.

I do like quite a few corners that will be there round 1 and 2. I don't want one at 6, regardless. But with a trade back I'd be ok with one in round 1.

I’d be more concerned about the Giants having Slayton and Golladay as that’s a very good set of wide receivers. However Daniel Jones had solid wide receivers last year and still wasn’t very good.

Who do you like in round 2? I liked Newsome, but that was before he became a first round lock.

We’re not contending for anything in the next two years, so what our division rivals do in FA matters little to me, tbh.

Galloday isn't really anything special, and the Eagles will have the best WR group in the NFC East in a little over a month once they draft Chase. The question is, do we have a QB and do we have a coach? Those questions remain unanswered.

I would be a little concerned that in two years when you’re expecting to compete slayton and Golladay are both under 30 and you’re going to have to defend them.

Lol you might be extremely disappointed on draft day.

Two parts of a defense, front seven and secondary.  What do you build a secondary around.  What position in the secondary does the Passing Game Coordinator scheme against?

Chase is already an Eagle. It just hasn't happened in your timeline yet.

Meh. Golladay turns 28 during the season. He’ll be a 30 year old jump ball specialist by the time our next window opens.

Even if they got Chase they wouldn’t have the best wide receiver group in the division. Chase has proven nothing in the nfl yet. Jalen reagor has proven very little. hightower and watkins have proven very little. Jjaw is a bust. Our best wide receiver is Greg Ward. Please tell me how that is better then Slaton and Golladay or cooper, Gallup and lamb or mclaurin and Samuel.

They seem to love Pittman.

I am actually more concerned they figure out Daniel Jones sucks then they go and get a quarterback. Kind of surprised the Giants aren’t even remotely interested in trying to get somebody like Deshaun Watson or Russell Wilson. I believe that both of those guys would go to New York. I think Watson would not use his no trade clause. And I think Russell Wilson would go to New York. To me Wilson wants out and I think it’s partially because his wife Ciara wants to go to a bigger market. She would be fine going to New York

I understand your point. I just don’t see Hurts being able to read NFL defenses and getting to a third read, or even second. He’s gonna be a read one and run QB. And we’ve seen how sustainable that is in the NFL. That’s why I’m more into drafting a guy like Chase or Pitts, than a technician like Smith, because I don’t think Hurts’ style will utilize quick twitch route running, but be better suited for guys who will go up and get it.

If thats what you think Hurts is then you are drafting weapons for your future qb and not him

Division rivals getting stud QBs is the only thing that worries me at this point. Let the Giants go all in on 8 or 9 wins and possibly a crappy division title.

Actually, LB in the first hits more Pro Bowl and All Pro than OT but OT is next. Not that I am advocating for a LB in the first round.

I think Farley is potentially elite and maybe Surtain.  Players I think are potentially elite in the first are Chase and Farley.  Maybe 2019 Sewell.   Next are Pitts and Surtain.   Pitts seems like E J Howard that doesn’t in-line block. I just don’t see Gronk in him. Smith is just too small for me to be comfortable with him. Real slick with moves and positioning.  Waddle too injury prone. Would surprise me f they are elite WRs in their careers.  Might be elite at lesser position are Parsons and a few OL.  None of the QBs strike me as elite.

Since you want WRs, which day 2 and day 3 WRs do you like   Pretty much an X and slot draft as I see it with the depth at slot

I like Brown, St. Brown, Collins, Marshall, Bateman in that round 2 range.

Washington imo is really a good QB away from being very dangerous. If they didn’t have Snyder as an owner and the dysfunction they have wouldn’t think it was out of the realm they make a move to get watson. But i think watson would shoot that down cause of their whole issues.

i think the giants are intriguing if i were watson or Wilson. They have slayton and Golladay. Along with barkley, engram and Rudolph. That’s some really nice weapons. They still need to get pieces along the oline but judge had their defense trending in the right direction as the season progressed. Those factors make it attractive imo for a QB like Wilson or watson. I’m hoping that they continue to go with Daniel Jones for the foreseeable future

If we signed Galloday this place would have gone bananas. He's a very good receiver and compliments Slayton so well. The division gets better by the day. We better get used to the nfc east basement because we will be there for a few years.
