If we signed Galloday this place would have gone bananas. He's a very good receiver and compliments Slayton so well. The division gets better by the day. We better get used to the nfc east basement because we will be there for a few years.

Sure. If we had a good Wentz here I’d be pumped. He would fit well with Reagor.

But we have a crappy QB and we’re rebuilding so I don’t care at all that he landed with the Giants.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Kenny Galloday is a good player, but this is a win for us.

- It'll be a back-loaded contract so it'll hurt the Giants when we're hopefully competitive.
- Makes it more likely they keep Jones/Gettleman
- Helps the 2021 tank.

Washington imo is really a good QB away from being very dangerous. If they didn’t have Snyder as an owner and the dysfunction they have wouldn’t think it was out of the realm they make a move to get watson. But i think watson would shoot that down cause of their whole issues.

i think the giants are intriguing if i were watson or Wilson. They have slayton and Golladay. Along with barkley, engram and Rudolph. That’s some really nice weapons. They still need to get pieces along the oline but judge had their defense trending in the right direction as the season progressed. Those factors make it attractive imo for a QB like Wilson or watson. I’m hoping that they continue to go with Daniel Jones for the foreseeable future

Giants offensive weapons are very good. Nothing else to say about it. No point to hate or try to finish what they have. WFT has weapons too. Cowboys, yup. We would need Pitts AND a WR in round 2, say Marshall at least and I still don't think we would be as good as the rest of the division. Much improved of course but still not quite as good.

I'm not crazy about Gettleman, but he runs circles around our clown show.

It makes our climb out of the dank, dark, moldy basement that much harder though

I figured Golladay would go to NY. Their beat writers had been discussing it all season. Tbh i think he made a mistake for his career going to NY and relying on Daniel jones to be good. Jones had tate, slayton, engram and Shepard last year. That’s a pretty solid set of weapons and jones still didn’t look great. I’m guessing the giants offered the most money but in terms of long term production i think there were much better places for him to go.

someone said why the colts didn’t go after him, one of the colts beat writers said they are saving money knowing that Leonard, Nelson and braden smith need extensions as each are entering the last years of their deals or up for extensions

Golladay does that? Not really. The Giants getting a good QB would though.

Theres some giants fans that are still delusional about Daniel jones being good. reading Twitter and fb every other fan base says he isn’t very good. Giants fans defending him relentlessly. I think he’s a poor man’s Eli manning with better mobility.

He's a upper tier WR who compliments the rest of their WR's. I think Galloday is pretty good,

I think he’s pretty good too. But we aren’t in a position to compete for anything of substance for a few years. Him signing there is pretty meaningless to us.

I think Golladay is pretty good as well. However Daniel jones still throwing to him and their oline is eh. I think the bigger value Golladay brings the giants is that if jones flops again this year that next year (2022) if there’s a QB on the market like Wilson it becomes more attractive with the weapons they have and adding what they do in this draft (should add oline).

The safeties

Even Jim Schwartz abandoned that. Don’t get me wrong I want a good FS.  But I would build around corners that can play man and off.

Just last year he got the better CB in James Bradberry without giving up draft picks and for lesser money, a good linebacker in Blake Martinez, acquired Leonard Williams whom excelled when he got to the giants. Yeah, I think we like to pick on gettleman because it's kinda easy but he hasn't been as bad as we make him out to be.

But we may not even be out of the cellar in a few years. We need to hit on draft picks big time in order for that happen. Our chances of that are not good.

This is a big year for Danny. He needs to step up. No excuses.

It would be Gettlemanish to discover how much of Golloday was Stafford.  Not like Tate produced away from Stafford like he did with him.

Tbh i liked Daniel jones coming out. I didn’t think he would be a star QB t i thought he would be a middle of the pack QB. They took him way too high and he really hasn’t even shown to be a consistent middle of the road QB. Giants fans can blame losing barkley and an average/below average Oline but he has also made some pretty dumb decisions. He really reminds me of a lesser version of Eli that has more ability to run.

He overpaid for Williams on two different occasions because he stupidly traded for him without a deal in place. Blake Martinez is nothing special. He drafted Barkley second overall while never engaging in trade talks to move down. He passed on better QB prospects for Daniel Jones. Andrew Thomas played better down the stretch but he might be the fourth best of those early round tackles.

You can say he overpaid for Williams when the trade first happened, I know I certainly did, but in hindsight, Williams played extremely well for them this past year and is just entering his prime. Maybe it wasn't such a bad trade after all.
Blake isn't  a pro bowler by any stretch but he's good. He certainly isn't bad by any stretch.

the giant specialty way.

Lebron just left the game with an ankle injury after colliding with Solomon hill. Sixers might actually avoid curry and Lebron when they play the warriors and lakers this week.

I didn’t even include signing Golden Tate when he had a really good slot in Shepherd, overpaying by 150 percent on Solder. For a guy running circles around Howie he has almost nothing to show for it. He’s 15-33 and has picked in the top 10 a bunch.
