F no

As soon as he throws a pick, incomplete, or gets sacked, fans will scream for the backup

Leave the last impression of him as the SB MVP alone

I'd take Nick Foles as a backup in a heart beat. Not because of his QB ability but because of his character, resiliency, and experience in Philly. Best mentor  and teammate for whoever is the ascending QB. He is also the most hot and cold QB I've ever seen and he can get hot in Philly green on occasion. He is a guy loved by the locker room. The bodyguard went after the WFT lineman who late hit Foles. Lost his cool totally. Never saw him to that for Wentz (not a knock on Wentz). Who cares about the fan drama. It will be there regardless.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Was linked to the Eagles early on in FA.

Not sure why so many are wanting Adoree Jackson so much. Hes just a name that people know. He really hasnt done that much since joining the NFL. He wont be worth the money he will get. Rather draft a CB.

Avonte Maddox, that's all I need to know to have any interest in a young corner, with elite athleticism and speed who still has potential.  Even in his hasn't done much career, he's still light years better than Maddox.

I still hope they draft a CB, even 2.  However, I think Jackson can still take that next step.

Adding Harris and Jackson to what will presumably be a DB-friendly scheme, and doing so on team-friendly contracts, would kind of be a best case scenario for the defense. Only real holes remaining would be LB and an early season starter for McLeod.

But yeah, I wouldn't let Harris or Jackson alter their draft plans at all.

All this is moot anyway because the Giants are gonna overpay like they always do. I have zero interest in Jackson at a premium cost.

I’m mostly bored and would like to be entertained by player acquisitions.

A friend asked me this question today, so figured I'd toss it out. If you could trade just the #6 pick for Watson today, before the investigation into his sexual assaults are finished... would you do it?

If the investigations are true he will obviously at a minimum be suspended for quite a while at the very least, if not have deep legal issues.

On the flip side if he's not guilty you get an elite QB at about as "cheaply" as you can get one considering without these accusations he nets a minimum of 3 first rounders and probably a good player.

5’ 10” and 185 pounds is a little smaller than I would like, to be honest.  However 4.42 forty speed, which shows on film, 36” vertical, which shows on film and a 6.63 three cone is the type of athleticism I want to see in a corner. E45 is obsessed with speed at WR at times.  I feel the same about CBs.  I need to see tight feet, fluid hips and speed.  No more 4.6 corners, please. I want to draft a corner even if they sign Jackson and especially if it is a short contract.  Howie’s mantra has been fill holes in free agency and draft for the future.  No more glaring hole on this team than the secondary.  Well he has signed two one year Ss and a third DT and is hosting a CB.  I will be shocked if we don’t see a QB signed soon too.  I expect Sudfeld to be it.

No thanks.   No cap room.  $10,500,000 salary this year but dead cap for the Texans would be $67 million.  Salary next year is $35 million with a dead cap of $40 million coupled with a no trade clause and that is cap hell all over again because of the can kicks this year.  $20 million the following year with a $17 million roster bonus.  First opt out is 2024, which I think is a mutual opt out option. Texans cannot afford to trade him, regardless of trade compensation.

No, too risky at this point.

Texans would never take it and Watson with his no trade clause would never come here so in the end its a worthless question to even think about.

When I was in sixth grade I was talking to a neighborhood girl about how fast as I was. She said she could beat me so we raced in the street. I was really far ahead and slowed down to taunt her, and when she caught up our feet tangled and I fell to the ground breaking and dislocating my right pinkie.

About a year later I was slap fighting a friend of mine and somehow he fell into me and my left arm got crushed, dislocating and breaking my left wrist, snapping the growth plate. My parents were grocery shopping out of town (before cell phones), so I had to walk to the Air Force base hospital and wait in the lobby for about an hour until my parents came home to check the answering machine.

In any situation Watson would have to want to go to the new team because of the no trade clause. Texans can't just ship him off anywhere

Look at what’s left in free agency. Garbage.

Worked on me — I’d be discouraged if Gannon even wanted to talk to him.  Singleton is a better player than Anzalone

Not at all.  Foles can’t hold down a starting job.  Anywhere.  Including in Philly.  Twice.

Foles was better in 2018 than Wentz was.

I saw that. That’s why I asked. And yes he is a free agent.

He sucked last year and the year before that barely played. Sounds like a prime Howie target for our joke of a linebacking core
