I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Sherman is a 4.6 corner. Depends on the player and the scheme.

Makes sense.  Cali guy.  IF and we know it won't happen, but IF he can stay healthy, Stafford's arm to DJack could be a scary combo.  Match that with Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Van Jefferson and Josh Reynolds.  Tyler Higbee at tight end.  Ooh boy that's some firepower.  Plus Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson in the backfield.  That's a helluva offense.

Even without DJack that offense has serious potential.  I hate the feeling of envy but man am I ever envious of these other teams adding players and building offenses with talented weapons.

I don't care if Sewell could be great.  Mailata could be great.  Dillard was a 1st and 4th round investment.  YOU HAVE to use pick 6 to add some sort of elite firepower to this offense and then continue adding more in the early.

Even if you add a top CB in the draft, that's not going to make this defense THAT much better.  They will barely be an average defense.  Average defense might slow some of these other teams down but if you trot out an offense that can't score points, the games are over before the opening kickoff.

Eagles can offer 10 1st rounders. If Watson does not want to work with Howie and the limited talent on this team then it does not matter. I'd say out of the 32 teams in the NFL we are in the top 5 that he does NOT want to play for.

man it sounds extremely unlikely Adoree gets out of NY without a deal.

We have Gareon Conley left and that may be about it.

Back to trolling? You have no idea what anyone in the organization thinks. Pretty sure they're glad to have the trophy in their case.

He stopped?

Welp no chance in that one.

My point wasn’t that he would want to come here. I don’t think he would. However that doesn’t mean the Eagles wouldn’t be interested in him with the situation he has going on.  That was more of the point. Even with his current situation with the lawsuits Aaron Wilson said the eagles were still interested. Watson is highly likely not

Lowie is probably locked in on CB for #6. 🥴

Gotta aim higher.... we need a punter after cam Johnston left

Chase/Pitts at 6 or

Trade back(s) and Bateman in the early 20s

That's the scenario I'm torn with at the moment.

Would be more helpful knowing what they could get to trade back tbh. It would have to be massive as I’m guessing the team moving up form 20-24 is to get a QB at 6 and it’s a hell of a jump

I'd be almost as annoyed with taking Pitts at 6 as I was with Reagor last year. Almost.

Depends on the scheme. Samuel was small with average speed, put him on an Island, uh oh, give him deep help so he could trust his instincts, interception machine.

Gannon may run something similar to Seattle, where he wants long CBs with average speed who can press and break on the ball, not speed balls to lock up one on one.

Stop it.  Misinformation.  No one really wants 4.6 corners.  Sherman ran a 4.54 and Samuel ran a 4.52.    They were considered on the slower side, most corners above 4.5 are.  Anything below 4.55 is too slow and frankly, I prefer sub 4.5 corners.  Sherman is extremely smart, could burst, is big and was backed up by some pretty good safeties. That instinct/football IQ and his fluid hips probably reduced a couple tenths of a second to his time.  Samuel was a film junkie.  He knew every receiver’s tells and the QBs too.

He already listed the teams, unsurprisingly, we were not on the list. He would rather go to the Jets than come here and that's not even an exaggeration. It's just the truth

I guess I'd take him on a 1 year deal. At this point who the F cares.

Am I the only one who would be just as fine taking a shot on Conley or King as with Jackson. What am I missing with Jackson other than being fast and being an early 2nd round pick. He hasn't been good.

It sounds like all three struggle in zone coverage.

Need that yearly FA CB to come in and suck.

I just want someone, anyone with an ounce of talent to come be CB2.  Maddox should be fighting for a roster spot, not CB2 or even slot corner.

well, Jackson adds gamebreaking punt return ability, thought its questionable whether theyd let him do that as a starting CB anyway.

I think the age, and perceived upside. And that hes played at a high level. It didnt work out for us but a lot were excited about the upside of the Darby acquisition. Had a good year, and a down year but reasonable contract and 4.3 speed.

Jackson would be most exciting but Id be very happy to settle for Conley.

He was a first round pick, a few after Barnett. I’d be fine with Conley, he’d probably be cheaper too.

King if you are referring to Desmond signed with the Texans.

I get it. I’m all for adding any CB with theoretical upside who could become a key piece in the future.

Reading some of the Giants fans comments, and they have to be the most arrogant fan base of a 6-win team I've ever seen in my life. Hope they win 6 games again this year and stay delusional for the rest of their lives.
