I'd be almost as annoyed with taking Pitts at 6 as I was with Reagor last year. Almost.

He's light years better than Josh Huff V2.0

though I feel as though they need to trade back due to the years and years of draft fail. Just way too many needs. Load up on day 2 picks and high picks next year.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Damn but Rutgers gave my Coogs a scare but my team came back in the final two minutes.  Syracuse took out WV.  Cannot underestimate the Orangemen just because of their seeding but I think Houston has a decent shot of beating them to get to the Elite Eight. And the nun took out #1 seed Illinois.  Suddenly I have become an Oregon State fan.  I have to believe that 98% of America has had their brackets screwed up already.  Go Coogs.

Oral Roberts screwing up brackets in their section too.

Kelvin Sampson has always been a really good coach. If it wasn’t for him lying to the NCAA His career probably would’ve  been different and he probably would’ve had Indiana in a better spot then they have been. Not that Houston is not a good program. It is but his trajectory before that scandals was trending really high. I can tell you with definitive information that Arizona thought about him as a potential replacement to lute Olson  before he took that Indiana job. That’s how good he was before that whole scandal hit. He’s done a terrific job at Houston.

He was a first round pick, a few after Barnett. I’d be fine with Conley, he’d probably be cheaper too.

King if you are referring to Desmond signed with the Texans.

I think Friday night i saw a stat that only like 100 or so out of however many tens of thousands of brackets were still correct, it was like .0017% or something

Would be more helpful knowing what they could get to trade back tbh. It would have to be massive as I’m guessing the team moving up form 20-24 is to get a QB at 6 and it’s a hell of a jump

Let's say WFT (19), NY Jets (23), and Pittsburgh (24) are the teams targeting pick 6. WFT could be going up for a QB or an offensive weapon. Both the Jets and Steelers could be targeting Pitts/Smith/Chase if they are there. Have seen both trying to move up for Pitts in the PFN simulator recently.

Teams are usually offering a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in 2021 and a 1st/2nd in 2022.

I don’t believe you should ever let a division rival trade up, especially in the first round.  The GM does ask the other team who they wish to trade up for (in case they’re targeting a player you want) and the team wanting to go up generally is required to be honest — it gets around if they’re not.

A trade back all the way from #6 to the 20s would have to have a 2022 first round pick coming back in return.  Obviously the Jets first round pick would be more valuable than PIT, who hasn’t had a losing season in more than a decade.

No chance.  I like him as a player.  But he is looking more and more like a slim ball.  Pass

Would you prefer a fat ball?  From what I saw on the lawyer that is representing the women that are accusing him, I think he/they are the slime balls

I'd let a rival trade up, but the compensation would cripple them for the next 3 years drafts

Agreed that would be the ideal. Let them trade up (as long as its not a player that we really want) and cripple them for the next few years.

I'm fine with this. I have no interest in watching Flacco play, but he could hold the position down for a few games. Exactly what I want in a backup QB.

Pretty much how I feel. They need a body there and most expect us to suck anyway. Flacco, Suds or another body, doesn’t make a difference to me.

This is totally fine and what you want in a backup.  A veteran who knows how to win in the NFL, has proven he can and poses no threat at a quarterback controversy.   It's the kind of move they should have made last year instead of drafting Hurts in the 2nd.  It's going to always be discussed and an unanswered question among Eagles fans but if the Eagles brought in a veteran backup for Carson maybe he doesn't have that horrible season.  Maybe his mindset and attitude doesn't go down the drain.  It can be argued he was mentally weak, however, the Eagles were completely foolish if they thought drafting a quarterback in the 2nd wouldn't have some sort of impact on Carson.

If they do sign Flacco, I don't wanna hear Howie say anything about it. Throw Sirianni out there telling every Flacco "loves ball" and keep it moving.

As long as he’s near the minimum, fine. Anything more than that is a waste. Put money toward players with a future or players who will start.

I agree with that. I wouldn’t bring him in for $10 Million.
