I agree with that. I wouldn’t bring him in for $10 Million.

Obviously no one is paying that, but I wouldn’t even bother with a deal close to half that.

I understand the need for a backup QB in the event of an injury so the team can somewhat accurately assess the offense, but it’s far down my shopping list.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

As long as he’s near the minimum, fine. Anything more than that is a waste. Put money toward players with a future or players who will start.

While it won't be 10 million, I doubt it will be vet minimum either. I just wonder if he can still throw at all

I’m thinking at or near vet minimum. I don’t know what that is for someone with his number of years, but I’m not going beyond that. If that number is $5 Million or more, I’m fine looking elsewhere. Even if that means bringing Suds back.

Flacco was on the cards to come in this time last year but for the neck injury, so it's hardly a surprise they are having him come in now.  The team needs another QB desperately - who else is out there. Brian Hoyer?

Hmmm...

Flacco backing up Foles is perfect

Flacco is from South Jersey and went to Delaware so close ties to Philly area

Dude, Foles is never coming back here, except for maybe on a one day contract so he can retire as an Eagle. Get over it already.

I'm guessing he has a Foles fat head in his bathroom

Notice the bottom teams were playoff teams except for, uh, Da Bears.

The Eagles were elevated by the 2020 draft, when they actually had picks.

They'll be in the top ten by this measure from 2021-2023.

Bill Walton is high as hell somewhere talking about how great the pac 12 conference is. 6-0 lol.

Walton is entertaining, but I dont know how Pasch puts up with him. If I had a colleague like that at work, it would only be a matter of time...

Last year the backup QB position was so important they used a second round pick. This year you expect them to pay the backup league minimum?

Gross.

He's a decent backup and frankly a better option than trading something for Foles.

Vet minimum but nothing more.  Nothing that costs much if we cut or trade him.  Filling holes.

Seahawks have three draft picks this year.  Don’t see how that fixes the OL for Wilson.

We’re in a different position both competitively and with cap space.

Trubisky signed for $2.5M plus incentives. There’s no reason to pay Flacco more than that.

Jets only paid him $1.5 million last year and he didn’t play well.  Frankly, I would rather grab Sudfeld.

Okay then sounds like our price range

I barely care who the backup QB is, just as long as they’re cheap.

I almost prefer they grab one in the 5th/6th round.
