Dude, Foles is never coming back here, except for maybe on a one day contract so he can retire as an Eagle. Get over it already.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Sure.  As long as I don't have to hold the snap on kicks.

I bet you could do it better than Koy Detmer.

Flacco for 2M, give or take, is fine.

Jets only paid him $1.5 million last year and he didn’t play well.  Frankly, I would rather grab Sudfeld.

He had poor completion percentage but still had a decent rating.  It's hard to judge him on a team that was as bad as the Jets.  I would have more faith in him than Sudfield.

Sudfeld made Doug and the Eagles look like a national embarrassment; he was so terrible there were conspiracy theories in the national media that the Eagles threw the game by sitting down their best hope of winning — who was 7-for-20 by the way — in order to screw the Giants and reap a higher draft pick.  Sudfeld is a small part of the reason people think Hurts is good.  No thanks.

Flacco is perfect as a #2 if the plan is to draft Trey Lance.  Let Lance intern a year as #3 behind Joe Flacco.  Flacco can mentor him while Hurts starts and plays badly each Sunday.  Lance takes over in 2022 as starting QB, Hurts gets traded and it’s either Flacco or some other journeyman as #2 QB going forward.

Have you seen the completion percentage of the guy he would be backing up ??

If this kid could ever learn a few pass rush moves , he would be a stud

I almost prefer they grab one in the 5th/6th round.

I’m guessing they probably do that as well as a developmental type guy.

Honestly it wasn't like Sudfield was that much worse than Hurts in that game.

Pretty sure they will do that to fill the #3 and #4 QB positions.  The rookies won't be ready to go into game the first season.  A #2 is still needed for games that Hurts can't go.  Not sold on Sudfeld yet.  He played poorly in the last game last season, and has not impressed in the seasons he was here.  Flacco has more game experience but he has been on the down trend.

Double nickels on the dime.

We are a team as bad as the Jets

I didn't think he stayed in NY so I am assuming they didn't blow him away with that kind of money. I have a hard time believing he would get that kind of offer given his recent injury.  I mean he was due $10 million but for his release.  It's not like TN let him walk based on nothing.  My guess is this guy is getting the information from the Agent.

Pass

So DeVonta Smith not only is doing zero drills, he didn't even bulk up to a respectable weight. Hard no at #6

I'm passing on Adoree Jackson at 10M/Y, unless it's for multiple years. Doesn't fit our timeline on a one-year deal.

Honestly, if the Giants push for him, that makes more sense.

I barely care who the backup QB is, just as long as they’re cheap.

Cheap and not likely to get the younger players hurt. I cringe at a multiple injuries 36 year old QB.  Rather have a younger QB like Sudfeld.  A back up isn’t going to likely win games.  Advantage I see with Sudfeld is he knows the players currently on offense and they know him.  Less likely to get a player hurt, I believe.

I’m in on Terry and Kaindoh.

Not a fifth, preferably.  I could maybe see Ehlinger from UT in the sixth.
