I bet he slips into the early teens

I was thinking late teens. What does it tell you when a guy is afraid of doing drills because he "bulked up" to 170lbs.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Pretty sure they will do that to fill the #3 and #4 QB positions.  The rookies won't be ready to go into game the first season.  A #2 is still needed for games that Hurts can't go.  Not sold on Sudfeld yet.  He played poorly in the last game last season, and has not impressed in the seasons he was here.  Flacco has more game experience but he has been on the down trend.

Are you really looking for a back up to possibly win games?  I am looking for one that either might grow into a decent backup, even a #3 QB, that can lead the scout team or a player a little more competent than the Broncos Covid QB.  If a back up is playing this year, we are unlikely to be poised for meaningful wins.

I’m in on Terry and Kaindoh.

So Samuel is basically his Dad without the ball skills.

Walton is entertaining, but I dont know how Pasch puts up with him. If I had a colleague like that at work, it would only be a matter of time...

Still had the greatest Final Four Championship Game ever.

Pass

Marvin Harrison played at probably close to that weight.  I think Chase, Waddle or Smith would all be worthwhile picks at 6.

Yikes, no way we can afford that or he is worth that.

So DeVonta Smith not only is doing zero drills, he didn't even bulk up to a respectable weight. Hard no at #6

Yeah, that's a bad move.  That tells me that he's a 4.5 guy weighing 170 lbs.  No thank you.

Marvin Harrison ran a 4.38 and went 19th overall.  Smith had a great career....I'm not taking him anywhere near 6.

Hellz to the no. Chase/Pitts but it really should be a trade back.

Yeah I think I’d pass as well.  Barely bulked up and is refusing to do any drills at his pro day?  Red flags galore.  This could drop him 10-15 spots.

Pitts/Chase then Bateman for me.  Don't want the Alabama guys in 1st round

Devonta deflected when asked about if he would be excited if Eagles picked him. Said he would be blessed for anyone to pick him.

He at least weighed in at 181 in the combine. Smith spent the last two months training and peaked at 170. I just don't see how you can take a guy that high whose playing weight is in the 160's. Marvin Harrison is also a HOF WR. if you are taking Smith and hoping he can replicate what Harrison did, that's a tall ask.

I was skin and bones in high school and was still weighed more then 170

I  think I graduated 6'2''ish 185. I havent been 185 since graduation day

I played highschool ball at 135lbs I was the second smallest kid on the team.

I now weigh more than devonta smith by about 3 pounds, though I never ran anywhere near a 4.4☹️

Yup, when Pinkston was drafted I think at 6'2" he weighed 168 and everyone expected he could just gain weight and be ok when he retired 5 years later he weighed probably around 175 so it's not a given a guy is just going to be able to pack on weight and or without sacrificing speed quickness agility ect...

Unless smith ran a 4.2 I'd pass on him he's just too small.

Every year, for 5 years, Spadaro would say in camp that Pinkston gained 10lb of muscle in the offseason.  Dude would have been about 265 by the time he left the Eagles if that were true.

I am convinced that workout drills are meaningless for Alabama players given the amount of GPS data they keep.  There is not hiding his speed and agility unless he somehow can keep Alabama from sharing the information.

Smith is intriguing, but they'll be Chasing another guy at 6.

Yup lol I think the whole time Pinkston was here he gained maybe ten pounds.

His face looked a little fatter but his legs still looked like a mclane stick figure.

Pencil him in to Dallas at 10.

Yeah seems there have been rumblings about Parsons not surprised, Id drop him off my board as well.

Even though I think he can be really good, eagles don't need headcases.

I'm moving up if Parsons is there in the late 20's.  He's not only the best LB he's the best DE in this draft IMO
