I think he weighs less than DeSean Jackson

That's about 10 lbs lighter than Todd Pinkston, and about 2 inches shorter.

He needs one of these:

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Still had the greatest Final Four Championship Game ever.

Just to add to this, Walton had four (4) offensive goaltending calls against him in that game. That was during the benighted period when dunks were outlawed in college. He didn't actually dunk but he dropped the ball through the hoop from directly over the cylinder. He'd have been 25 of 26 and 52 points without that stupid rule.

Remember Sixers center Shawn Bradley? I realize Bradley is 7'6" ... but still. Sixers brought in a platoon of dieticians, trainers, body builders et al to try putting weight on that guy. If someone was paying me millions to eat as much as I could I prolly wouldn't complain but it wouldn't take long before they would need a forklift to move me around. Some guys just don't add weight.

One of the best discussions i had with an Arizona athlete was Loren woods. I’m guessing some know him but he was the center that wake forest  wanted to replace Tim Duncan and transferred to Arizona. He wound up getting drafted in the second round. But he would talk about how the coaches would force him to eat, eat and eat. Coaches would invite him over for meals their wives cooked (Bobbi Olson before she passed was a huge recruiting tool for Olson cause of her cooking) and work out to add muscle. He was like i could eat 24/7 and my body just doesn’t allow me to gain enough weight cause of his size (7’1) and how fast his metabolism was. He wasn’t nearly as skinny as Bradley but was also 5 inches shorter. Some guys body’s just don’t allow for it. Deandre ayton is kind of the opposite. He managed to be able to add weight and muscle more easily than Loren and he’s right at 7 foot.

Mike Evans ran a 4.41 at 6-5 230.  He’s not going to last until 6.

I often ran a sub 4.4 - when I timed myself.

Me too but only from the table to the buffet line

Most awkward 4.46 I've ever seen

I miss buffets

DeSean was 169 at the combine but 2-3 inches shorter

DeSean also ran a 4.35.

Vegas buffets i really miss.

I don’t see why Pitts couldn’t play WR.

If he ran around 4.5, there's no reason to play him at TE.  The question is whether he's a better receiving prospect than Chase given his more limited experience.

What about the one where the dude's D fell out his shorts?

Kyle Pitts is a generational prospect at TE. Keep him there and let him dominate. I think he's gone by 5 TBH.

The million dollar question with Pitts I can't get an answer on is if he has the measurables to play WR at the NFL level why didn't he do it full time at the college level?

Agreed. Although I see both Chase and Pitts going before 6 in which case the Eagles should 100% trade back.

Lawrence, Wilson, Pitts, Chase all top 5 IMO. It would be great if Fields and Sewell snuck in there and gave us a shot at Pitts/Chase.

Kind of my thinking is atlanta and cincy are both in play for him. I wouldn’t be shocked if either took him

That’s what BLG has been saying for months now. That’s his exact argument for when people say he can play WR at a high level in college and the pros. Not that i agree with it but it has been his argument

Marvin Harrison played at probably close to that weight.  I think Chase, Waddle or Smith would all be worthwhile picks at 6.

Smith has nothing close to Harrison’s speed or wiggle.  If Barry Sanders was a WR, he would be Marvin Harrison. Not sure it was possible to cover him.

I think ... because defensive personnel is dictated by offensive personnel. Listed as a TE might provide more mismatches - not just against him - but vs the offense in general.

I'll answer it:

Because getting matched on linebackers and safeties is even better for Pitts

Mike Evans who could play in-line would be unstoppable.

Right, so why wouldn't you do that at the next level?

I'm not arguing not to take him, just saying I don't buy the "He'll move and play X full time" argument.

Pretty sure that teams will have their top CB on them unless their WR is elite. Pitts against LB/S is an unacceptable mismatch in gameplanning.
