How much total is needed for draft picks? Feel like it's gotta be just around there.  Proof that there is no chance that Ertz is on the roster this season.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Giants must be sweating Adoree Jackson coming here

Those are draft stock climbing numbers.

That's a helluva 3-cone for a LB.  Change of direction is huge.  I read up on him from what I could find online.  Said he played mostly weakside and wasn't asked to follow receivers downfield in coverage much.  He usually covered the underneath stuff, but he can go sideline to sideline and could catch RBs in the flat.  Better at shedding blockers when they come at him from an angle than when straight on.

What do they save if Ertz is traded/released?

Remember Sixers center Shawn Bradley? I realize Bradley is 7'6" ... but still. Sixers brought in a platoon of dieticians, trainers, body builders et al to try putting weight on that guy. If someone was paying me millions to eat as much as I could I prolly wouldn't complain but it wouldn't take long before they would need a forklift to move me around. Some guys just don't add weight.

I heard on the radio last week that he is paralyzed from a biking accident. Apparently this happened a couple of months ago. Sad.

Most awkward 4.46 I've ever seen

I was thinking the same thing.   Running rather flat footed, hunched over a lot.

Chad Johnson was poo pooing fans concerns about Smith's weight and saying he doesn't need to bulk up, etc.  170 is super lean for a WR, but if his frame can't take it, he is what he is.

Just a point on Flacco.  The O side of the team desperately needs more veteran voices in it as a lot have gone in the past 12 months.  Regardless of what you think of Peters, Jackson, Wentz, etc.  It's young over there and Hurts could do with a veteran at his side - esp if Ertz is off.

I tend to agree that’s your options at 6. I think those will be the top 5. Eagles are going to have the option of pitts/chase or fields/Lance or trade out. Depending on how far they have to go back the trade out is attractive. I tend to think Carolina is going to move up to 3 to get a QB. I tend to think atlanta goes pitts or Sewell. Atlanta needs oline. Their RT is not very good. Neither is one of their guard spots and they lost Alex Mack. I think Sewell being the best player there makes a ton of sense. To me cincy comes down to chase or pitts. I tend to lean towards pitts for them as they have Higgins and Boyd so they could get pitts at tight end who also gives them versatility to ply some WR. I think Denver, SF and New England would be the three teams vying to trade up to 6

The trade down option with a team looking for a QB is the best option at this point in my mind.  We should get a mid 1st rounder, a 2nd rounder, and say a nice player to boot (or other draft pick).  I'd rather go that route and work to develop Hurts than pick another QB.

Yeah In guessing that 3 cone would be tops for all LBs at the combine, 4.45 at 230 lbs is up there as well.

I'd never heard of the guy but the numbers suggest he's fast in every direction.

Where was he projected if at all before his workout?

It's not really excitement but I am curious as hell on who Howie picks at 6

Yeah, I read that - apparently someone hit him from behind. I mean - how does someone not see a 7'6" dude on a bicycle?

That’s worse than a torn acl and not too far off from an achilles.  Recovery isn’t nearly as long, but longevity and return to true 100% issues are just as bad.

Ignoring the position and the prospect himself...say he was considered 10 overall in value.  This should make him late 1st early 2nd.

You'd be surprised how much people don't see while staring at their phones...

Golston had a nice proday , 34 end

We’ve had like 3 of the Shawn Bradley type of incidents over the last month and a half in tucson. One the person was drunk. Another the person was texting. And the other was a granny who was 95 and likely shouldn’t have been driving. It’s been horrific here with accidents this year.

I would be all for Flacco as a backup and anyone that says otherwise is a clown. Yeah, I said it.

On a serious note, I do like it and would be good with it happening. Guy has won a Superbowl, is somehow extremely clutch in big games and has been a solid/good player in this league for years. He wouldn't push for the job and could teach Hurts a lot.

Good move for around 2 mil, IMO.

I think it's something like $4.5M to $4.75M

I've called the Hall of Fame in Canton, and while the costs were high, they have agreed to reserve a space for Kyle Pitts after running that quick 40.

Right next to Nasty Nate's spot. 😉

He's already had an ACL too I believe,  among other things.

He will be our pick.

Kyle Pitts if drafted by 31 other teams: Tony Gonzalez on steroids.

Kyle Pitts if drafted by the Eagles: Cornelius Ingram 2.0.

I was all About a small trade down (no further than 9) to pick him. Not now, we’ve had too many injury issues the last few years

😪 Elgin Baylor died today. One of the all-time greats. When he and Jerry West were together they were such a joy to watch.

The million dollar question with Pitts I can't get an answer on is if he has the measurables to play WR at the NFL level why didn't he do it full time at the college level?

Because he likely runs a 4.6

Kyle Pitts running a 4:46 at his pro day. Means his real 40 is in the 4:50 range.  At least.  Just as I said.

It wasn't even his pro-day so you can probably tac more time on it.
