Worked out for Danielle Hunter (albeit in the 3rd round). Gotta hold your scouts accountable either way on that call.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I’d love a trade back to 9-11 and picking up Parsons. If true about playing more 2 high, we are going to need playmaking LBs.

Went into a rabbit hold today... Vegas odds on the Draft(I trust more than most "insiders" AKA the Vegas Mock Draft...

1) Sunshine

2) Zach Wilson

3) Justin Fields

4) Tray Lance

5) Penei Sewell

6) Chase

7) Devonta Smith

When was the last time if ever 4 qbs went with the 1st 4 picks?

Maybe Mcnabbs draft in 99

I can see it happening this draft. Although I don’t think it will be the dolphins picking at 3. It will probably be a trade with the panthers.

The league is such a qb driven league it's nuts, I miss the days if old when defenses could play defense and one could build an offense around a RB.

Now RBs go end of 1st or early second and most 1st round defensive picks are made with the thought of stopping the qb not the RB like back in the day

Would be nice if there were some balance instead of it being so skewed to one or the other but it is was it is .

Oweh doesn’t look to me like he plays fast, though.  I think Ojulari and Ossai play faster.

Ojulari might be the best pass rusher off the edge, and Ossai brings some lumber as well.

Howie stop effing up the cap plz

1.56M and it pushed 780,000 out of the top 51. Flacco cost us 780,000 on the cap. Cheap.

Up to 4 voidable years?

Howie couldn't help himself could he.

Four voidable years for Flacco

I can see the Giants jumping on one of the PSU guys.

Yes and yes.  He runs to contact, which is concerning.  It’s very possible he’ll get benched for performance at some point; not sure Sirianni will be a Brian Flores and pull Hurts like Tua was getting pulled, though — MIA were in a playoff race, which the Eagles probably won’t be.

Hurts rarely gets hit hard, he has a compact frame and he's an elusive runner.

The fast guys are more likely to get hurt b/c they tend to be more straight line as runners and have slighter frames.

The tall guys are at most risk as runners, it's hard to protect your body when you run upright, which is why most RBs are in the 5'10 to 6'0 range.

And what’s his cap next year after he’s gone?

Trey Smith had a 7.34 (97th percentile) 3-cone at 321 pounds. That's incredible

485,000 next 4 years. It’s his signing bonus spread of 5 years. Its a non factor.

Except it all accelerates into next year

Yep, 4.3 million tied to Harris and Flacco in 2022.  Here is todays update.

3 weeks ago, all the Howie loyalists talked about one rough  year, but we will have 73 million in cap space in 2022.

Here we are, with 26.7 million in cap space for 2022.

4.3 million cap hit next year for these two guys who won't be on the roster.  Brilliant.

4 Voidable years take the 2.425M signing bonus and it divides it by 5. Thats how voidable years work.

What about that tweet tells you anything different?

Because the guaranteed money no longer can be divided by 5 once his contract is voided. Then the rest of Flacco’s guarantees get pushed onto the 2021 cap in the form of dead cap.
