The Falcons restructured Matt Ryan 2 weeks ago. His dead money in 2022 is 40.4 million and a cap hit of 48 mil. So they likely have to restructure that next year meaning he’s likely back at least the next two years. You believe they take a QB at 4 and sit him for 2 years? And possibly 3 after they restructure again? You don’t make that type of restructure to Ryan if you don’t plan on him being the QB for at least two years. I have a hard time seeing a team at 4 with a ton of needs taking a QB that doesn’t see the field until 2023 at the earliest

Good for us, but not sure why the 9ers would do this trade now, and not wait until the Dolphins are on the clock.

Logically you would think the Jets take Sewell, and you would think the 9ers are trading up for Wilson.  But the Jets are still 5 weeks out from making the pick, and could change course and the draft Wilson.  Would Fields or Lance be worth that draft capital ??

I am ok with moving back however i would’ve waited til the draft to see how the board fell. You might have possibly moved back sold yourself short on value and the 6th pick at that point could’ve had more value depending on how the board fell.

This could be a good thing down the line. Especially if we can get Smith or Waddle. I'd take Jaycee Horn too.

So we got a 4th round pick back this year which puts us at 12 picks total. That's a good haul and could still change if we trade back more or find a way to move Ertz.

Ugh.  The one thing I do NOT like is here we had a top 10 pick.  Best draft slot in the NFCE.  Now we draft directly behind Dallas and NYG.
