I am on a roller coaster ride here and I am not happy about it

Would've been nice for Chase, but for those upset about it, we needed to do this. This team needs a lot. Now we have an extra first next year and moved up 33 spots this year while only moving down 6 in the first. We could potentially still move Ertz and trade down again.

Howie is dumb, but this is a good move.

 

Whispers: One of Ja'Marr Chase or Jaylen Waddle is likely on the board at 12. 

I guess 2 1sts is good... Fire up the Jayce Horn, Pat Surtain, Waddle wagons... If you think about it Smith could drop to us. 

 

Oh and Dallas is definitely grapping Pitts

Also, we're going to blow and Wentz could very well turn into a first. Three firsts with one being in the top 10 is a good start to a rebuild.

Conceptually I love this.  This is basically the trade half of us were making on the mock draft games.  Big question is which 1st are we receiving in 2022 - San Fran or Miami?

3 firsts in 2022 is major trade ammo. 

Can kiss any hopes of Chase, Pitts and potentially Waddle out the window.  All but guarantees no QB in round 1.  Potentially 3 1st rounders next year is pretty crazy.  I'm sure Howie is far from done.

One thing to keep in mind is the rookie salary.

2020 pick 6- $26.6 million

2020 pick 12- $16.67 million

Eagles pick should be top 10, Dolphins, hard to tell, 16-22 range, and the Colts 24 to 28 range.

That’s a good point. They must have really wanted that extra 1st and didn’t want to risk not having that option on draft day. 
 

What I don’t get is why Miami moved back just to jump back up. There must be an O-Lineman or WR they love but won’t be there at 12. 

Pitts at 12. Let’s do it.

Kind of a toss up on who’s could be better. Apparently schefter saying the niners keeping Jimmy Gif Jimmy G plays like 2019 and they are healthy the niners are likely a playoff team. However last year showed could go awry. Meanwhile tua looked bad last year. If tua stinks that pick could be high value but if he progresses probably a playoff team. 

Trey Lance at 12 is a sad possibility.

I think Mac Jones is more likely. Didn't someone post a report earlier today how Sirianni likes him? 

So this is officially a rebuilding year for the Eagles (prob already was)? Eagles don’t pick in the top 10 very often. Surprised they didn’t want to add an elite prospect to the roster. Not that they can’t find that guy at 12, but 6 was a prime spot.

Generally agree, however you don’t know if the Dolphins had another trade offer on the table and had a high time preference.
