Would like to know which of Miami's 1sts we get next year?

Theirs or San Fran's?

Just so I know who to root against!

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Top 12

QBs: 4
WRs: 2
OTs: 2
CBs: 2
TE: 1
LBs: 1

We're fine.

How should have negotiated the better of the two first rounders between SF and Miami.. is it confirmed 100% that it's Miami's?

Kind of a toss up on who’s could be better. Apparently schefter saying the niners keeping Jimmy Gif Jimmy G plays like 2019 and they are healthy the niners are likely a playoff team. However last year showed could go awry. Meanwhile tua looked bad last year. If tua stinks that pick could be high value but if he progresses probably a playoff team.

Nah, give me Miami's all day long.  San Francisco has a great supporting cast and was ravaged by injuries last year.  Dolphins are going to need to continue their defensive turnover success to be a playoff team.

That’s a good point. They must have really wanted that extra 1st and didn’t want to risk not having that option on draft day.

What I don’t get is why Miami moved back just to jump back up. There must be an O-Lineman or WR they love but won’t be there at 12.

I’m thinking wanting to get ahead of the lions who it’s been reported are very high on chase. Frankly top 3 are going to be QBs. Atlanta is a wild card. Could be Sewell, pitts or QB. Bengals likely Sewell, chase or pitts. Chase might not be there but if not they still get Sewell or pitts.

San Francisco plays in a much tougher division with the Rams, Seahwaks and Cardinals. I'd much rather have their pick than Miami, who gets the Jets and Pats twice.

Eagles already undermining Hurts

So this is officially a rebuilding year for the Eagles (prob already was)? Eagles don’t pick in the top 10 very often. Surprised they didn’t want to add an elite prospect to the roster. Not they can’t find that guy at 12, but 6 was a prime spot.

there was a lot of can't miss level talent at 6th if we held it. Losing out on chase and pitt bloody hurts.

This is pretty public knowledge. Team will give Hurts the chance to win the job moving forward.

- If Hurts is good in 2021, he's the starter in 2022
- If Hurts is ok/bad in 2021, we look to replace him.

Next two years are rebuilding years for sure. Have fun fighting for the division.

Love that it’s the SF pick. MIA will probably win that division.

I just...why do this now? Why not wait until the draft and see if one of the QBs is on the board and you can get more?

I wanted to trade back. I can't comprehend doing it this early.

I have no problem with it happening now.  I would imagine the teams know what the first 3 picks are going to be.  The only question is whether the Jets would trade back at all.  Getting a 2022 first is a good deal for the team.  In a sense the team is all in on Hurts now.

One of the elite prospects is going to drop. Happens every year. Just have to wait and see if it’s the guy the Eagles want.

Surprised they let the QB rumor leak.

agreed it is not underminding hurts at all. Hurts knows he has just 1 year to prove it. I am also ok with upgrading QB as well. I am not sold on Hurts but I wasn't sold on Carson either. If we can upgrade at QB you do it.

QB 1: Foles

QB 2: Flacco

LFG!!!

Over Buffalo?  Not likely.

I also don’t rule out if the Jets don’t want Wilson and are willing to trade the number two pick the Eagles have enough ammo now in terms of first round picks to make the Jets make that deal. It’s not as high as 6 but the eagles still could give up 3 first and still have one next year based on wentz deal. Highly doubtful but i wouldn’t rule that out if they really love Wilson.

I am ok with moving back however i would’ve waited til the draft to see how the board fell. You might have possibly moved back sold yourself short on value and the 6th pick at that point could’ve had more value depending on how the board fell.

takes 2 for a trade - maybe Dolphins want to deal now and by draft day no longer interested. You can't just do everything on your own terms.

Its SF pick from this year.....not 22

Yes, Lurie literally said in the Doug P press conference that one of the reasons they parted ways was that Doug wanted to continue to try to win while the Eagles felt a rebuild was necessary.

So root against the Dolphins next year.

We’ve been "rebuilding” for a decade. I trust you guys will do it quicker.
