I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

In a sense the team is all in on Hurts now.

Actually they are not.  Already reported they tried to trade up to 3 for Wilson, and with 3 1st next year, they can get any QB they want.  Now adding that 4th this year, and having 2 3rd's, I will not be shocked if they take a QB in round 2.

So basically if Wentz does not shiz the bed in Indy we can possibly have three first round picks next year...

takes 2 for a trade - maybe Dolphins want to deal now and by draft day no longer interested. You can't just do everything on your own terms.

Given the timing., the ability to make both trades was obviously important to Miami.  I don't think they do the first trade without the Eagles agreeing to this trade and vice versa.

A team that is horrible at drafting passed up a chance to take a surefire stud for more "chances." Look back at the Eagles track record in trading down and see how well that's worked out.

This is what happens when you try and rush a rebuild. Instead of building slowly and methodically, you rush it and try to fill as many holes as possible. This is what an insecure GM does who worries that if they string together a few bad seasons they might be on the hot seat instead of doing what's best for the team.

And next year's QB class isn't nearly as good, at least it isn't projected to be. So naturally, Howie will blow his draft pick stockpile next season to trade up for a QB, who in this class would've been like the 5th best guy.

I just can't do it anymore. Nothing but stress and frustration. Enjoy your summer fellas and stay safe.

This is awesome!!!!!!!   Good job by Howie.  Bad news for you Pitts fan boys.  😂

Bad news for us when he plays us in a dallas uniform... I dont hate the move, I just hate that the g-men and the cowboys now have first pick

or he shitz the bed AND it turns into a higher pick. The dude just needs to have a 6-6 record for us to cash in then crash and burn last few games. If it is the Carson we know gonna be a top 15 pick.

Guys, Howie is clearly using the three firsts next year to go get Watson. Don't be dumb

Eagles already undermining Hurts

Undermining him would actually mean something like not putting talent around him or drafting a QB in the 2nd round when there a bunch of holes at other positions.

Yes. If Howies gonna Howie this year in the draft, chances he gets canned and we have a new GM with three first round picks.... one can dream

In what alternate universe does an insecure GM trade down for future draft capital?

This is the opposite of that. It’s a GM with a long term outlook.

So the Dolphins traded 3 (which they got from Houston for Tunsil) for 6, a third, a 2023 1st and swapped 2022 1st round picks with SF.

That's well done.

I'm def not happy to lose out on Pitts, but what makes me nervous is if he drops, he's the kind of talent that Dallas and NYG love.  That would be ultimate nightmare.  Dallas got CeeDee Lamb last year, my favorite prospect and the guy I wanted.  If they get Pitts this year it's going to be painful to watch.

Will it though?   Has he ever spoken about being willing to mentor a young QB?  Or has he actually said just the opposite in the past?

Personally, I don't like this signing even a little bit, money not considered.  The extra cost just makes it even worse.

It really isn't much money and of course he will help.

You could be sitting at six on draft day and Carolina wants a quarterback there and is willing to give you the same package at that time if not more and the dolphins trying to move up as well. Again you’re assuming the Dolphins were the only team that was gonna be in play for the six pick at any point in time. That was true today that doesn’t mean draft day there’s not multiple teams winding up trying to get up to six and that pick has more value. What if the Dolphins are on the clock, trade that pick to move back to 8, get a future first and a 3rd this year. Again my point was the value of that pick could be higher on draft day and you sold yourself short. That doesn’t mean I hate the move that’s just telling you the reality that that could be worth more on that particular day based on how the board falls.

he doesn't make it past dallas

Idk, wasn’t Howard supposed to go really high in 2017, but then dropped all the way to 19? Hopefully that’s the case for Pitts too.

Let Dallas get Pitts. They already have 50 weapons and can't stop a nosebleed. Let them keep throwing resources on offense that they don't need.

I can't see how the Cowboys don't go O-line or CB.  The Giants will probably go o-line but certainly they might also draft Pitts or Smith.

So...who is the guy at 12? Farley?

So did we get the SF pick or miamis own pick?

Kwitty Paye

with his new chronic back issue  probably.  Howie will draft him and then they redshirt him.  The Eagles hate taking guys in the 1st round who can have an immediate impact.

Maybe Howie has a Brian and not a Moran.
