Why are people so anti-Rousseau?  I wasn't a fan at first, I don't know what to think about guys who sat out.  He's 6-7 265 and had over 15 sacks in 2019.  I thought he was 6-6.

That's the kind of freak that would make me feel better about having Barnett here long term.

Rousseau, Barnett and Sweat would be a nice young trio to build on.

I find draft prospect evaluation to be so backwards. Scared to project a freak athlete at DE, but swoon over a project at QB who can throw 60 yards from his knees. Makes no sense.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Dolphins will take DeVonta Smith at 6. They're avoiding players who opted out of the 2020 season in the first round.

Would you believe in Hurts if your job performance was at stake?

I don't believe Howie's job is at stake

It should be but I don't think it is. I don't think he's even on the hot seat in Lurie's mind

I was referring to the HC and OC.  What if Nick Sirianni has finished watching tape and given the thumbs-down?

Well if Nick liked Wilson and that's why they tried to trade up and failed then I hope Nick can find someone else. Whether that's in this draft or the next I don't know but I hope he gets his guy asap

That is why I think Lance will be the pick , no need to sit Jones for a year .

I tend to agree that they go with lance.

The game is played on the field. But what we saw from Zack Wilson today, there is no comparison between his workout and Trevor Lawrence’s. It was out of this world awesome. The degree of difficulty of the workout was high and he made so many high level throws.

Yes to any of the first three and a first.

It just brings up McDougle vibes.  He will probably be better than him, but would rather go CB, OL, WR with that pick.

Cameron McGrone didn’t run a 40. That’s disappointing.

Kwity Payne or Caleb Farley for me. I was pro-skill position offensive player all the way until today. Howie had his chance to fix the offense and can’t do that, apparently. The defense deserves a playmaker

Limited tape, mainly. He is a damn freak though and has a ton of potential.

The only Canes prospect I’m interested in is Brevin Jordan as an Ertz replacement as a 3rd round target.

Solid trade by Howie.

The Eagles will draft a player at 12 at the same talent level they’d have had at 6.  6 was the drop off.  So now they backed up behind that drop off and get the same talent.  It’s just that it will be dictated to them rather them having their pick of the tier 1b talent.  And with Howie’s drafting, that’s even better.

Likely 3 first round picks next year.  That’s where the team gets rebuilt.

I don’t say it often...but good job Howie.

Farley having back surgery for an injury that occurred a few years prior is a concern for me. I would rather they go Horn.  Back surgeries can be unpredictable. He is supposed to be back to normal in a couple of months, but...who knows.

Waddle, Waddle, Waddle.  All about him at 12 IMO.  Unless Lance is there (he won’t be), then things get complicated.

Penei Sewell has one full season playing LT at Oregon, sat out 2020 and everyone claims he's a can't miss, sure thing player.  Rousseau put up 15 sacks and some 19 TFL in 2019 and like Kyle Pitts, he's an athletic freak at 6-7 265.  Now that we are in the middle of round 1, I'm more than willing to take a chance on that.

Chase Young as a senior had 16.5 sacks and all of the arguments were he had big games against bad teams.  6-5, 265 lb DE who had a freakish combine.  If Rousseau tests anywhere near what Young did I'm on board.

Today is March 26, I'm retiring my Kyle Pitts defense and starting up the Greg Rousseau talk.  I want weapons for Hurts.  I'd love Waddle.  I'm not touching Smith.  We could possibly even trade down 3-5 more slots and get Rousseau.

Once BG is done, We could have the steady Eddy in Derek Barnett and a freak in Rousseau with Sweat rotating in and another young guy to be added.  It's time for our defense to have legit playmakers and guys you need to account for.

Take the best available value at 12, then trade back into the end of the 1st with 37 for Dyami Brown.

So, if Waddle is gone, then which one of these guys would you take if they were there:  Smith, Slater, Parsons, Horn, Surtain, Farley, or Paye?
