Not looking forward to JJAW still being on the team

I’d wager him to get cut in training camp — especially if the Eagles were to draft a WR like Nico Collins or Tamorrion Terry.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The Eagles traded pick 15, a 4th, and a 6th to move up to pick 12 in 2012. Would you accept a similar return for trading back 3 spots?

No

Lol apparently you can't rant on here

Last year I was saying I was going to stop watching too but I'm too curious about what Nick does

There's also a few players like Mailata, Goedert, Dillard, Reagor, and whoever the 12th pick is that I'm excited and hoping they make a big leap

Hoping Sanders can stay healthy and not get exhausted. I'd like to get a RB that can pair with him and have both on the field

I'll also be happy to just not see the CBs give 10yd cushions

Yeah, it sucks watching your team suck. But it’s kinda like preseason where you just kinda watch for flashes of players who look worth keeping.

Just have feeling Howie takes our 2nd round pick next year along with 12 to get ahead of Dallas and NYG

I don’t think you’re gonna burn a 2nd round pick just to do that.  Gettleman is a lock to make a bad pick at #11 on Paye or Rousseau (Parsons if he’s smart).  DAL also needs DL help, or OT if Tyron Smith is cooked.

Eagles are much more likely to draft a smaller, faster player like CB or WR.

I do. Would be stupid as f.. but I do think that's a real possibility.

I think a Chase Burrow reunion would be pretty good and don’t be surprised if a team wants trade up with them. Pretty sure MIA will take Sewell if he is around

Dyami Brown. Dyami Brown. Dyami Brown. That is all.

What would you trade to add Darnold to the qb factory after the Jets draft Wilson?

A bucket of hog pee

I wouldn’t classify the continued development of a qb the rest of the nfl deemed undevelopable and the return to health of an OL that won’t stay healthy as things to look forward to for the 2021 season.

I'm not excited by anything this season, I expected this season to suck. But I'll watch in the hopes that we play better than I expected and Hurts will be good and I am wrong about him.

There is nothing wrong about not having anything to be excited about this year.

I think the best way to look at the trade is that it gives the Eagles optionality. We couldn’t get the QB we wanted, so let’s make a small trade down to the bottom of tier 2 and collect more ammo for next year when there is a new batch of rookie QBs and Watson/Wilson might come available.

And maybe we get incredibly lucky and Hurts is good so we can use the three first rounders to build a quality group around him.

I’m surprised so many people want Watson or Wilson.

I think Watson’s ordeal has made him just about untouchable.

I would’ve loved Wilson 5 years ago, but I don’t see him having the longevity of a Brady/Manning/Brees.  He needs his legs too much to create for him to last as long as they did.

Watson is a very good qb. I'll want him until the charges are proven true , but I am very dubious that they will. Wilson has an arm and isn't just a runner, behind a good oline I think he can last.

Rant is one thing. War and Peace post about quitting the team over a trade down is another.

I didn’t mean to imply Wilson is a run first guy.  He has a very good arm and incredible instincts.  I just think his height is one of the reasons why he needs his mobility to create.  If we are talking about using the draft ammo to acquire him next year, he will be turning 34 next November.  I’m just not parting with 3+ first rounders to acquire him at that point.

As for Watson, yes we need to let the process play out.  I admit to not following it closely.  Just seems like an awful lot of smoke for there not to be something there.

You aren't suggesting this at 12, right?

You and I might be his biggest fans in here. How high do you think he’ll go? I get him in round 3 a bunch but I’m starting to think he won’t be there.

Haven’t seen the 31 interviews with coaches/GMs stating that Hurts is "undevelopable.” Now that could be because that isn’t a real word, or because you are full of ish.

Tomorrow is going to be fun.  UNC pro day, Miami pro day.

Dyami Brown, Chazz Surratt, Javonte Williams and Michael Carter are all players I'm interested in the Eagles taking in the middle rounds.

I'd like to see if Dyami put on a few pounds and can play at 190.  I think he can be a poor man's Justin Jefferson.

Only thing on Watson is the last I checked everyone was using the same lawyer and when I checked his website he seemed kinda like an ambulance chaser. Also why didn't any of these women go to the police.

Highest career grade in the redzone from draft-eligible receivers:
1. Pat Freiermuth - 92.5
2. Jaelon Darden - 86.2
3. Terrace Marshall Jr. - 83.6
4. Kyle Pitts - 80.1

I would be tempted, need to see the board really. Maybe rather than two picks this year, say a 4 this year and a 5 next or vice versa. Though I still would want to see the board. I feel like late round one into round two and all round two really, is the sweet spot for LB, OG, S, CB, WR. If you could still land a Horn at 15 while trading back three slots or even a Waddle/Smith, JOK/Collins I'd be all for it. I would think a couple of these guys are definitely there at 15 too.

Williams is going to be a 3 down beast. If we were set up better on D and WR and such, I'd be completely fine with him in round two as he could be our version of Taylor. Though he may go late round 1

Surratt better improve on that 4.7 and 4.67 he ran earlier , brutal time , in a time when everyone is running 4.4s

95+% of these times are not accurate. You have to look at game speed on tape. Can't trust any times that are not from the NFL combine.

Eagles fans: the roster is bad
Eagles management: trades back to get more picks to solve the roster being bad

Have you not seen how picks have gone recently?

More picks and later in the first round seems a bit too Howie for me.

Seems more like a "cap savings" move than anything, that Howie's dumb ass put us in to begin with.
