95+% of these times are not accurate. You have to look at game speed on tape. Can't trust any times that are not from the NFL combine.

That’s my point , these times are slower then clocked times , which would put Surratt slower than his 4.7

not a fan of his , real raw was a QB a cpl years ago , and needs to get much stronger

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Yup, if I had to guess, I'd say Wilson, they always talk about missing on him in the draft

I'm not excited by anything this season, I expected this season to suck. But I'll watch in the hopes that we play better than I expected and Hurts will be good and I am wrong about him.

There is nothing wrong about not having anything to be excited about this year.

I don’t expect a great season but if the OL holds up and the defense improves, it may be better than expected.  What I look forward to is seeing growth in the younger players and the draft choices from this year actually getting to play.  Existing players have to prepare this offseason like they are fighting for their future because they are.  No one is safe.  I am also looking forward to seeing what sort of coaching we see from this staff.

Surratt better improve on that 4.7 and 4.67 he ran earlier , brutal time , in a time when everyone is running 4.4s

Slower than expected, bad physical measurables and older. I’m out on him before day 3.

I’d be interested in him as a flyer in the 7th or as a UDFA. Was stuck behind two stud RBs during his time at Iowa State.

Never heard of him. But I like taking shots on elite size/athleticism late or as UDFAs.

Was a disappointment at Nebraska, but let Stout work with him for a couple of years and see what he can get out of him.

Kelce replacement in round 2?

Nebraska football has been pretty disappointing overall as of late. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I suspected he was a 5th or 6th round pick from the beginning. But I'll shut up now because I know you guys wanna throw away a 3rd round pick.

Have you watched Rousseau's highlights?  He plays the run pretty well.  I'm sure there are instances where he gets knocked off balance.  Guess what though, Mailata made 6-8 Calais Campbell topple like a Jenga tower.

Give me the dynamic athlete with loads of potential for once.  We ALWAYS draft safe (unless they are drafting injured players).  I want to take a chance on guys who are physically dominant,.

Snowden is rd 4?

We have a development staff (lots of coaches with proven experience coaching up players at their position, Sirianni, Michael, Rocker, Gannon, etc).

The competition in camp will be wide open, there is no loyalty to current players, and our new coaches have turned UDFA and late round picks into starters (same with Stoutland).

So the last five picks/top 5 UDFA signings (Eagles will have an edge b/c they can offer a shot at a job this year or next year, after a year on the PS) will be in some ways as interesting as th first six picks. One of the keys to an accelerated rebuild is to find a few gems here and among SFAs, and to coach up last year's draft class and plethora of waiver wire pickups.

I'm not going to write off JJAW yet, with the new staff and scheme, who knows? Maybe he becomes a H-back in the Burton mold.

I thought cutting Burnett so early was interesting, he was a TC darling of the last staff, didn't take long for the new staff, after reviewing film, to move on.

Looking at the current roster going into the draft:

RB:  Sanders, Scott are probably locks, they'll look to upgrade Huntley, Holyfield and Killins with a true power back, hopefully who can pass block and catch

WR:  Reagor, Fulgham, Watkins, Ward and Hightower have the inside track, JJAW is on the bubble, Kahill Tate is probably history, Sirianni has a history of working with big WRs, which favors Fulgham and JJAW, but also suggests they'll bring in 2-3 as draft picks/UDFAs

TE:  Goedert and a bunch of H-back long shots, Wilson, Butler, Jackson, Croom and maybe JJAW. Look for a late round/UDFA traditional TE to stash for depth, and some more athletes to stash on the PS

OL:  Mailata - Seumalo - Kelce - Brooks - Lane, Dillard, Herbig, Driscoll are pretty much locks. Pryor will be pushed to get into better shape or be gone, Toth, Opeta, Juriga and Pierschbacher will get their shot. I can see an interior lineman, but probably not early unless BPA.

DL:  Graham - Cox - Hargrave - Barnett, Sweat, Williams, Ridgeway. Ostman is a try hard body, they'll look for guys to develop and step in a couple years from now

LB:  Edwards, Singleton. Taylor, Bradley, Smith can run and will compete for nickel back and ST roles. Avery is the wild card. Look for a talented WLB who is good in coverage and can stay on the field for 3 downs to be a target.

CB:  Slay and a bunch of short CBs who don't fit with Gannon, other than Jacquet and Shakial Taylor (who is straight line). This may be the top priority on defense.

S: Harris, Adams are the veteran stopgaps, Wallace, Epps the kids pushing for jobs. I think they'd like to land a FS with range for Cover 1, they have plenty of Cover 2 types.

One of my favorite defensive players

I think so as well.  Hurts will will be in his 2nd season, with a full camp and pre-season to prepare, etc.  Healthy O-Line, 2nd year Reagor (same as Hurts, camp + pre-season), etc.  Healthy defense, + new draft picks, etc. This could be an 8-8 team (or possibly better, imo).

I like Humphrey, I have him in several of my mocks (usually 2nd round or later).

If you can keep me from choking the chicken we can win the superbowl. But I was programmed young. And I love KFC.

I think Humphrey has a chance to go round 1. Even before this RAS score, his athleticism was a known value already.

He's much more lean.  Probably a better 3-4 fit IMO.

I see what you did there

I like it. We own next years entire draft too.
