Defensive tackle Jarran Reed is expected to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs, per source. KC can pair Reed with Chris Jones to cause havoc inside.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

You and I might be his biggest fans in here. How high do you think he’ll go? I get him in round 3 a bunch but I’m starting to think he won’t be there.

I don't think there's any way he's available in the 3rd. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets picked in the 1st. He can do it all.

Lot's of teams with the kind of talent they've drafted have made do with so-so QBs, Cleveland has something like 1 of 17 third day picks play a major roster role over a 4 or 5 year period. Just awful roster development.

Why cant you be this honest when it comes to the Eagles?

A second bye week, right before the team is due on Thursday night football would be a great start... but they won't do that.

The way TB re-signed all their players, and with KC splashing in FA, it's hard to not see them both repeating as conference champions.

I don't get to watch many Pac-12 games but I came across a very fun highlight tape of USC safety Talanoa Hufanga.  He's 6-1 199, ran a 4.61 at the USC pro day.  Didn't test overly well, pretty average but man his tape is really interesting.  He reminds me of Tyrann Mathieu.  He could be a player to look out for in the middle rounds.

Agreed. The Packers I think have the best shot to beat the Bucs but I can’t see Buffalo or Baltimore beating KC

TB is a good team, but they were very lucky to get to the SB. NO played their worst game at the worst time and GB basically shot themselves in the foot too many times. I don't think they'll repeat.

Anyone own, or know an owner of an AlfaRomeo Stelvio?

Im tempted by a 2018 thats for sale. Im afraid of all the electrical issues, but Ive read one article where it seems the expensive Quadrifoligo trim level has most of the issues while the lower trims are far better.

Hot take: Bateman is the 2nd best WR in the draft

Like him a lot. Very physical

In this it says Shanahan and Lynch are going to watch Mac Jones over Justin Fields’ pro day...

Edit: Should note the Niners are sending a bunch of folks to Ohio State.

He's a lawyer.

I have been, Howie gambled and lost. Some bad judgments (DeSean, extending Jeffrey) but an awful lot of bad luck. People want to make it black and white, but imagine 2018 if Wallace, Jerrigan and McLeod were healthy. And that's probably what seduced Howie in 2019, "I can't have this kind of injury luck again!"

People want to blame Howie for gambling and losing, but what else was he going to do after the SB? Imagine if he tried to blow that team up in 2018, even in 2019. he should have done so in 2020, but the impact on the team just isn't that great - once you commit to a rebuild you shouldn't be spending on FAs for a couple years.

I mean talk about overreaction, you'd think the Eagles were say the Giants, who after winning their last SB, missed the playoffs 4 straight seasons, lost a WC game, then 4 straight 10+ loss seasons. 4 HCs the last 7 years.

And of course when the players he drafted sucked it was the coaches’ fault.

Facts can be pesky things.

It’s crazy. He says Howie is average at drafting yet the coaches can’t develop anyone. It makes no sense.

Roseman gets full credit for the few successful picks and full exoneration for the many poor picks. It must be nice to construct an argument when unencumbered by facts.

Cue the argument that Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas played better outside of Philly.

My response: Jacksonville liked him so much they gave him a cheap deal and signed Shaquille Griffin to a monster deal to relegate Jones to a bench piece. Meanwhile Douglas continues to be unsigned.

I'd say I was waiting for a long list of names (cherrypicked, of course), but I have Afan on ignore.

Your about a month late, and he is.

Does that make it a tepid take?

Injuries to McLeod, Jernigan, and Wallace are what derailed the 2018 team? That team was atrocious until Foles caught fire in December.

Not like it had anything to do with two straight atrocious drafts.  Gotta love afan staying loyal to his idol.  Apparently 7th rounders and UDFA’s are the true measure of a GM.
