Isn’t the cash spending a byproduct of our kicking the can and turning salary into guarantees?

It can be, but doesn't have to be. That still means we're actually spending more cash than other teams.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

There is a report Ben McAdoo was on the turn pike coming to Nova Care to sign a contract and Giants convinced him to turn around. It’s also reported they offered Sumlin the HC job but he chose to stay in college.

Yea Im in the South Jersey area, never heard those reports. In this area everything about Eagles reported is all over the news. Must have been a low budget, no name reporter on his tweeter.

This is like watching a game out of 1990.  We have one team built around a running back in the Titans.  Then we have another team built around a running back in the Ravens.

It is old school. I love how physical both teams are. Wish we had that aspect.

It’s old school for a reason.  The winner doesn’t even need to bother showing up to face KC.

Nice hit on Lamar. Could be the stop the Titans needed to spark them.

That backwards pass from Jackson was outrageously risky lol!

Ok, so where would the Eagles and all their cash spending and HC paying land among other openings?

Yup.  Second one they've done like that.  That was a bad throw by him on the second one.

Titans have the 3rd most yards and 4th most points this year. Their offense is one of the best in the league.

I heard the McAdoo and Coughlin ones at the time.

There’s no question the eventual hire of Doug was off the reservation a bit, and they struck gold not by design.  The OC search last offseason was also handled quite badly

Intentional grounding on a completion?  These guys are special!

yup.  Ravens' D is still very good.  But, the Titans are going to be taking over the game very soon.

IMO

#1: Jacksonville: Lawrence + cap space + picks + time
#2: Chargers: Justin Herbert, but cheap owner + division with Mahomes
#3: Jets: Picks + Cap space, but bad owner
#4: Eagles: Picks, no cap space, ??? at QB, owner will spend, easy division so early success possible, Howie might be a negative
#5: Atlanta: Old locked-in roster + low-tier owner (listen to the Yahoo podcast for more on that)
#6: Detroit: Just not a winning culture/organization. Stafford puts them in QB purgatory. Patricia gutted the roster
#7: Texans: No picks. No cap space. QB wants out. In-fighting between GM/QB/owner.

Their offense hasn’t really been the problem this year it’s their defense and particularly their pass defense which ranks 29th in the league. Also 24th in ppg giving up 27.4

Absolutely.

Tennessee matches up well with Baltimore, but I picked BAL to win this game. They've been playing better than TEN has recently.

The Kevin Sumlin report is everywhere, just google it. Here it is on NFL.com. Ian Rappoport reported on it too.

https://www.nfl.com/news/kevin-sumlin-reportedly-offered-eagles-coaching-job-0ap1000000211901

And then Sumlin did an interview where he said he had an opportunity to be a HC in the NFL. Which was the Eagles.

And the Ben McAdoo was pretty much everywhere too

And the story was pushed by Kempski

Yes Coughlin was offered the job, accepted and then backed out. McAdoo was interviewed once, then Eagles set up a 2nd interview but the Giants had McAdoo come in for his second interview before Eagles to offer him the job so the Eagles could not get the chance. So in reality he was never offered the job here.

In all sense if you were McAdoo and both Eagles and Giants offered you the job would you go with a team you have no ties to or a team you know all the players, the QB you coached for years already and your system was in place? Was a no brainier for him. That would have had nothing to do with Howie.

I actually picked the ravens as well. Not so much cause i thought Lamar was going to breakout just more i don’t trust the Titans defense this year. If they had the defense they had in 2019 I’d have picked the Titans.

Not often you see that from tucker

Justin Tucker...missed?

Jake Elliott hasn't missed this weekend.

barely... from 52.

Why not just run henry on 3rd and 2? And the Titans should’ve gone for that. 4th and 2 in no man’s land.
