I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The criticism and mockery will last long after the draft.

I figure you're used to it by now.  :smoke:

I realize WRs are sexy pics and I also realize eagles need corner help and still I think the best value at 12 is at DE.

Kwitty Paye and Jaelen Phillips could both be there.

Rosseau as well but I'm not really a fan, he has great length and yet his testing confirms to me what scouts previously thought, that he wasn't twitchy or fast or explosive and struggles changing direction.

Where as Phillips at an inch shorter and about the same weight out performed him in all measurable tests.

Paye meanwhile I think people some how forget what an athlete he is, phillips got alot of hype for running a 4.56 at his pro day quitty at 6'2 1/2 and 260 ran a 4.54 Paye also holds the record for 3 cone by a DL jumped 35 inches benched 36 and jumped 9'10 in the broad, the guy is explosive fast and strong yet seems isn't mentioned with the miami's guys because he's not 6'5"

Having said that I'm not a fan of corner in the first, the league as is has so many rules that put corners at a disadvantage and promote passing and scoring.

Again eagles in 2017 won with the least amount of money allocated to CB.

The Chiefs won with average CBs.

The Bucs top 3 corners were two 2nd rounders and a 3rd rounder.

Good corners can be had in the 2nd round

As for WR. I don't like either of the Alabama receivers enough to justify spending 12 on them I think there will also be plenty of WRs in the 2nd round and beyond.

Where as once you get out of the first round in this draft the DL prospects are slim pickens.

If I had my druthers I'd take Kwitty Paye or Phillips in that order.

Just my 2 cents

So Fields wasted all that time actually preparing to be a QB because he wanted to run in the 4.3’s at his pro day and ended up running slower than he allegedly did a few weeks ago.

Good job Justin 👏

So here's my guess 30 days out.

1. Jags -- Lawrence

2. Jets -- Wilson

3. 49ers -- Jones (just too much smoke here)

4. Falcons -- Lance (I wouldn't go QB since they are locked into Ryan for 2 more years. Maybe they trade back and someone else takes Lance here)

5. Bengals -- Chase (I'd take Sewell, but guessing Burrow lobbies hard for his WR)

6. Dolphins -- Pitts (they want a weapon)

7. Lions -- Smith (it's him or Waddle if board breaks this way)

8. Carolina -- Fields (they do backflips getting a QB without trading up)

9. Broncos -- Sewell (too much value to pass up, despite Bolles playing so well, and they can put him at RT where they have a need)

10. [Insert Joke Name Here] -- Surtain

11. Midgets -- Paye (no need for corner or WR)

So that leaves Waddle for the Eagles at 12. That would be my guess,.

Walter Football lists the Giants needs as Center ( not one worth a pick at 11 ) Two Guards ( signed Zach Fulton, could go Rashawn Slater here ).

3rd on the Giants needs list is corner, and they signed Adoree Jackson who is best as the slot CB.  I would not rule out Jaycee Horn for the Giants.

Think the Giants may go Parsons if he’s there. Maybe Cowboys too.

I almost gave Horn to the Giants. They are pretty tough to predict, but they need a pass rusher.

Dream scenario is trading back to pick-up an extra 2nd and getting Surtain or Horn there. And then having Bateman fall to 2nd round and getting him at 37 (or a small trade up similar to Higgins last year).

Cowboys love injury prone LBs

If they pass on a corner again...it is legit insanity. So they probably will do so. They need secondary help badly.

From the minute the Eagles got locked into pick 6, I said best case scenario was to trade back for an extra 1st and get Waddle.  I never thought in a million years it would happen.  Still don't.  Can't imagine Howie pulling that off.

I think Waddle or Smith will be there. I'd be happy with either, though I would prefer Waddle.

If that's how it went down I'd take phillips from miami though I like Paye more but he's gone.☹️

The lack of mocks since the trade back has been appalling

12. Jaylen Waddle WR, Alabama

37. Zaven Collins LB, Tulsa

55.Creed Humphrey IOL, Oklahoma

84. Hunter Long TE, Boston College

123.  Jaylen Twyman IDL, Pittsburgh

130.  Israel Mukuamu CB, South Carolina

224. Josh Imatorbhebhe WR, Illinois

225. Joshua Kaindoh EDGE, Florida State

234. Jaelon Darden WR, North Texas

I give myself a grade of 3 Howies.

Atlanta i think trades out to a team that wants to move up for a QB. Looking at Ryan’s contract they are locked into it for at least 2 years and likely 3 after the restructure 2 weeks. If they do stay at 4 i think they go Oline. Alex Mack left and Hennessy is starting at center. Mcgary was not good last year at RT. And currently their LG position is a question mark on who starts. They could also use help in their secondary hit i think corner is way too early at 4 and would make sense in a trade back. I think Denver, Carolina (i believe they would make him pay a kings ransom to make that move back with them) and New England and Washington would be in play. Not sure they want to move back to where Washington is picking.

Yeah. That was more about I think Lance goes #4, but not necessarily to ATL. I think Denver may jump up, and ATL drops to 9 and takes an O-lineman.

I would put money on a Falcons trade out. Also if 5 QBs go in top 9 picks, wonder which other QBs make it up to the 1st round.

These trades really turned this draft into QB reaching panic mode for teams.

Kellen Mond has his pro day today I believe.  He's a guy I want here but I think he's working his way up in to the 2nd round.

Denver and Carolina are both potential trade up candidates.  I think it's more likely to be Carolina.  I also don't think Atlanta would want to move out of the top 10 but a team like NE could be a darkhorse to trade up for a QB.

So is this some sort of new thing.  Wilson did it.  Now Fields.  Rolling left, throwing off balance across the body.

I also don't understand why anyone gets excited over QB's throwing to their own WR at a pro day.
