I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I frankly would love to trade back into the end of the first to get Bateman. However i tend to think he’s going 17-25 range.

Could do the same thing for a CB or any other position.

Caplan passing his opinion off as official, what else is new

Nice of Sirianni to call Caplan and let him know that. So who is playing the Z? Greg Ward?  Loaded slot draft.

That catch at 2:43

Ah, where all bad Eagle WR draft picks go to get salvaged.  The Freddie Mitchell, Reggie Brown, Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor lineage officially has an heir.

In all seriousness, ideally it’s a non story and the reality is that all WRs will take some snaps all over the field.  If Reagor is being relegated and confined to the slot a la the bad draft picks before him and Greg Ward...well that IS news and is a problem.

Waddle, Reagor, and Ward as a veteran placeholder as Watkins learns to play would be my preference.

But the Eagles need at least one big, slow, WR who sucks on the field at all times.  Fulgham projects perfectly into that role.

There it is. Been a few months was wondering if you still baselessly hated that man.

Get used to it, Sirianni likes him some big WRs with good hands and average speed. Allen, Pascal, Pittman.

If you're 6'2 to 6'4 and 210-220 lbs, come on down!

Come on, now be fair — we’ve got to plan to build around our #200 overall pick — because he runs fast .....

Yep. He is a master at passing off opinion as ''insider information.''

The guy he wants to groom into the slot position, Watkins

He said during his live podcast tonight that the Eagles need more speed from the slot and that Reagor is likely a "move Z receiver."

Not sure how people translated that to 'Reagor is a slot receiver."

Reagor is not a slot receiver. His route running isn't good enough. He's a guy you want operating in space (i.e. a Z) and not a guy you want in a phone booth (i.e. why Greg Ward has a job.)

Genius.  We really need some slow possession WR's who play to contact and contested catches in a league that deliberately favors open space.

Not sure how you or anyone else knows what Sirianni does or does not like in his WRs, but you do get the franchise memos, so I'll have to trust you on that one.

Yeah, I'll pass on having any expectations for Watkins. His battle is to make the team. His hands are pretty bad.

If you're penciling in Reagor as one of your top 3 on the team, which you have to at this point, I don't want another short WR with a short wingspan on the outside. You need a WR who is at least 6'.

I looked at the Colts’ receiver snaps last year.

It looks like Pascal played 66 percent of his snaps in the slot and played 77 percent of the snaps.

Of course he played more because Parris Campbell got hurt. Campbell in his only game last year played 95 percent of his snaps in the slot and got nine targets. He led the Colts’ WRs in snaps that week. Reich absolutely loves him.

You’re looking at a slot receiver with too narrow of a view. Vertical slots are great.

I'll take an unknown who runs fast over building around our 2nd round pick, Greg Ward, and Fulgham.

You confuse want to groom into the slot with "someone has to do it."

I'd have JJAW competing in the slot too.

Ward is terrible.  Every single one of them has more upside.  He owns the slot and is our #1 WR because he stands in the right place and catches the football when someone forgets to cover him.

I think a lot of people are going to be disapointed when we don't take a WR at #12. It's most likely going to be a lineman of some type. I'm just hoping if it's a DL that we go with athleticism. We had pretty good results with Sweat in the later rounds. I'd like a "clean" prospect with that kind of upside.

Who is that DL player at 12? This isn’t a great DL draft at the top.

I’d be disappointed if he was the pick at 12.
