Everyone wanted Pitts at 6.  I think he will be there at 12.  Will the EMB sing Howie’s praises if we get Pitts at 12 and a 1st round pick next year?

Careful.  It’s more accurate to say there were some who considered his viability as a #6 overall pick; I think there was only one poster who said Pitts was their preferred pick there.

This is how "the board wanted Jefferson and Howie stupidly took Reagor” stuff gets legs.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I've been on about QBs going 1-4, but I wonder if Chase and Pitts are considered a step above everyone else to the point that the top 5 looks like this:

1. Lawrence

2. Wilson

3. Jones/Lance

4. Pitts

5. Chase

Would conflict with reports that the NFL sees the #1 WR situation as closer than perceived, but there seems to be too much smoke to this.

I cant fathom that atlanta would pass on their top tackle

For them, they must go QB or trade out IMO.

They must be taking Sewell. 3 QBs will be gone it seems before they pick, and they're locked into Ryan for at least 2 years I think. They literally only have 5 o linemen on the roster right now. They'd have to be in the special olympics to pass on Sewell.

Marshall and chase  4.38 wow

So they're both 4.48 guys. Plenty fast enough for both!

Horn in RD1, Marshall in RD2. Let's go.

Yeah, I think another weapon would be overkill as well, but if you have Pitts/Chase a tier above Sewell, whose stock seems to be falling (or never was as high as perceived), and Slater, who's undersized, you either take Pitts/Chase, a QB, or trade out.

I keep hearing that for the Falcons, too.  But why?  Matt Ryan is 35, he isn't retiring yet.

This is exactly where I've been at in terms of best realistic outcomes.  Would love this and then hit S and LB with the two 3rds.

Which is still impressive, more so for Marshall

Boy Chase is putting on an athletic freak show.  If he's still there at 6 I think heads are going to explode..and I'm a Pitts guy.

4.38s all around reported at LSU pro day. Chase, Marshall, Vincent. Who's next

If Howie gets Waddle or Pitts at 12 with an extra first in hand, I will be the first to gush over him.

If he gets Smith...not a prospect that is really my type, but it’s good value and I’ll tip my cap.

Paye or a CB?  Meh...wait and see, won’t bash, but not excited.  Don’t see either scenario there as someone who has a chance to change much for the franchise.

I think Paye is quite overrated, but checks a lot of boxes for what the Eagles look for in a draft pick.

Why?

ryans contract has him there two more years i figure

Damn

#LSU S Kary Vincent Jr...4.33! They are fast here in Baton Rouge. WR Racey McMath ran a 4.34 in his one attempt

Best case scenario for the Eagles is that 5 qbs go in the top 10 picks.

I think if they stay in the top 10 there's a good chance one is available if the Bengals go WR.

Chase needed to dip under 4.4.  The pro days are such a farce that linemen are doing it.  With 1 year to train, it was essential for Chase to get in that range.

You have to wonder how accurate that is but still.  Let's hope Chase is the Bengals' pick.

It's like oprah's give aways.

4.38 for you 4.38 for you, everybody gets a 4.38
