I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

If they trade back to 29, goodnight nurse.

Nice.

Every draft I save on TDN changes the name of at least one of the picks.

Agreed.  If they trade back to 29 for real, I'll lose my mind.  But it's easy to manipulate your way on TDN to draft one of the premier interior OL in these mocks right around 50 with little ammunition.

I just can’t stand hypocrites.  If you have an 80’ yacht with 5,000hp, don’t whine about the environment and how horribly humans are destroying the earth.

If you have have $100m worth of real estate on each coast, live a lifestyle that would make an oil sheik blush, and use both legal and illegal loopholes to avoid taxes, don’t patronize everyone else about wealth disparity and the misery of the lower class.

OK, I'll stop.

I wasn’t posting anything about or even in response to you, sorry.  He is just one of my top celebrity pet peeves.  Everyone has one.

Part of me hopes a team picking in front of the Eagles takes Jaylen Waddle because I don't know if I can stomach the Danny Watkins level rage I'll feel if they pass on him.

Yes, the spin conference.  I'm judging it based on what actually happened, not what the 'story' was after the fact.  And yes, I believe that Lurie's version of things was a bit slanted.   And that a lot of it was covering for either Howie's mistakes... or his own when he veered out of his lane and got handsy.

So Lurie lied about everything.

Secretly, Lurie and Howie wanted to keep signing older vets to hold on to some hope of a repeat -- against Doug's better judgement!  But then, Lurie fired Doug, and blamed all of his own and Howie's moves on Doug -- publicly to a national TV audience -- while poor little Doug and every coach and scout in the organization stoically refused to speak to any reporter to refute this outrageous inversion of the truth!

Come on, man. It's not a conspiracy. Doug, like every head coach ever, wanted to keep trying to win. Eventually, Lurie and Howie pulled the plug on that plan and it wasn't amendable to Doug. So they parted ways.

The best "Big" man workout I can remember was Barrett Brooks (and Poe at DT the same year).

Brooks VT 32", LJ 8'9, ran a 4.98 with a 1.71 split, 4.58 SS, 7.42 cone at 335 lbs.

Which is why I'm not worried about him, he's got tremendous athleticism and a great work ethic. He'll be back this year.

Mailata and LJ are up there. Those guys were ridiculous HWSA prospects.

Among Round 1 OTs in my database, Sewell's arm length is 12th percentile. His height is 15th percentile

I’d be shocked if he slides to 10 he isn’t the Cowboys’ pick

I thought you said workouts don’t matter?

They must be REALLY important if a great workout is so meaningful that one that is NINE years old makes you feel better about a players health after achilles repair x2.

I mean, if that 32” jump in 2012 doesn’t mean his Achilles will stay intact, then what does?

Not a fan of Horn. Great size but too grabby. Hard to tell how well he can cover with that style.

Heard that about Ramsey also

If we go DE in round 2 and Oweh and Basham Jr. are the two options hypothetically who you guys taking?

Does this mean the decision making gets even worse?

Maturity concerns? That’s news to me.

Sounds like someone’s trying to get him to slide a few spots

That’s a sexy draft but there’s only one guy I’m sure can play and that’s Davis. I do like Paye but I think he’s 50/50.

Davis is a beast.   No way he'd be talked about in Round 2 without the injury.

Neither

DE looks better later

Do you think Davis fits a Stoutland profile? I cant make up my mind

kid from Tennessee seems like a good fir

Basham for sure for me.  275 lbs, runs a 4.6 40, 23 games in a row with a TFL, could be versatile enough to play DE or DT.  Plays fast on film.

Pretty sure TB would grab him at 32, though.

are you sure he's a fir and not a spruce or pine?
